He went out to fight because that's what he does.

His offense is a blend of volume on the outside and roughhousing in the inside. I've been watching his fights long enough to know that how he fought Ruslan, tactics wise, really wasn't all that different than he typically fights. Had he fought entirely out of character, you may have a point.

Quit acting like he all of a sudden developed a warrior instinct to appease us evil, bloodthirsty fans. You ruin an otherwise good post by implying that Bradley somehow chose to keep eating left hands like Pez candy to prove something to fans. When you're fighting on instinct you don't give a flying **** what the crowd thinks. You can't afford to. Bradley implemented a lot of what he likes to do in most of his fights. The difference was that, unlike most of Bradley's opponents, Ruslan fought back from being smothered offensively in the middle rounds.

Also, you have a strange way of figuring out who the larger man in the ring is. Stronger, perhaps. But Ruslan was the guy with fewer WW fights moving up and the lighter man in the ring. They looked equal to me, so size really didn't play a factor in it either way.

SJ, you're trying to appear objective but you post is littered with bias and falsehood.

    1) Their fight night weights was 150 vs 159lbs. Bradley is a WW with a 9lb advantage contrary to whatever natural weight excuses you want to try and claim.

    3) This was supposed to be a easy tune up fight against a boxer moving up a division who had never faced a top 10 opponent at JWW and Bradley needed a gift decision to get the win. A good example would be if Klychko went life and death with Pianeta and won the same way, how do you think that would go over?

    3) Bradley didn't choose the judges in the Pacquiao fight but when you **** talk afterwards insisting you clearly won, outboxed him and "softened him up" for Marquez after getting schooled and recieving one of the worst robberies in the last decade you're going to get alot of hate...and deserve to. His whole facade of being a humble guy faded away within a couple months after that fight and he showed himself to be classless.

    4) If Bradley were to fight JMM, Matthysse, Garcia, Rios, Allakhverdiev, Provodnikov II, Khan, Peterson II he would be lucky to win 4 of 8. Reality is he's just another guy in the mix in the 140/147 range. Bradley owes everything to the boxing establishment because without it he would be 0-2 in his last 2 fights but instead we'll still have people in the boxing establishment and media claiming he's a top 10 P4P boxer

Um no. That would mean Provodnikov won rounds 1,2,6,11,12 with three 10-8 rounds would be 113-112 Provodnikov. Two of the three judges gave Ruslan the 11th and he would have won the fight which is how i scored it.

Now guys are saying he got exposed, but if he had just stayed on the outside and won all 12, everyone would say he's boring and has no fans. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Mayweather had a point. It's a lose/lose situation and there will always be excuses as to deride a guy and his accomplishments.

Well we all know your a biased piece of **** to Eastern Euros. You even wrote a long post trying to convince us Glazkov didn't get gifted a draw against Scott. You're no better than bailey or any ******* or *****. You know it's bad when you are trying your hardest to give a guy a fight, and the absolute best you can do is a one point win.

The game plan was to Box, listen to his trainers comments in between rounds. He went out and let lose, when he needed to BOX.

I make a post designed to outline the ethical problems in Boxing and you decide to nit pick the padding. :patsch

You, are one of the most bias posters on this site. Too articulate to be a troll, but blinded by national pride to the point where we can get **** all through your skull.

No they did not mate...not talking about a few hardcore fans, I mean the media & general public/causal fans...

No body went crazy blaming Rios (they just said he came to fight & Abril was just running) Same as Pac vs JMM...all they said is if JMM too more chances at the end of the fight he would have won...

And don't let me start with Oscar

    Please stop it...

Yeah, getting a gift over one of the most visible fighters in the world is unfortunate. But what you said was that people didn't care. People did care.

    Stop what?

    1) Bradley has received two gifts in a row

    2) People don't like this

    3) There's no reason anyone should be surprised by this.

    What are you struggling with?

And there was....bile spat at Pacquiao on this forum when he got what people considered two gift decisions.

    Good stuff, OP.

I often get pissed off at some of the **** posted here, but between last night and today, it's really trying my patience. ****ing armchair fans who haven't a clue what it takes to do what these guys do, mouthing off. One of the drawbacks of the internet, every ****ing idiot gets to share their opinion.

Don't see what the outcry is. When a fighter gets gift decisions or has things go his way, the criticism/negativity is always directed towards him. That's been the case all along. When Pac got his gift against JMM in the 3rd, was he exempt from criticism? What about Rios against Abril? Or Kirkland with Molina? None of their fortune was engineered directly by them. They just turned up to fight. So where were the threads to spare their feelings?
