Good post. Can't remember a fighter winning a fight after spending so much time out on his feet. Wasn't much of a fan of Timmy before last night but i gained a massive amount of respect for him and i'll be cheering him on from now on.

Lets get one thing straight...I not struggling with anything to be honest...It has become apparent that we have opposing views that's fine...both Bradley fights were competitive however the Pov fight was only close because of the Kd/Kd's...apart from that Bradley was in that *ss..., a draw at max.

As for the Pac...fight the old man could not hang in there with a young lion with two f*cked up feet...yes Pac is popular however that should not mean fanatics should be sending death threats...

In any case boxing is a sport with subjective scoring...so these things are bound to happen no matter how disgusting it is...

Rather than trying to divert my critique of your post by attacking me personally why don't you try responding to the points i addressed. Tell me where my horrible bias is blatantly incorrect?

    - Bradley didn't do himself a disservice by **** talking after recieveing one of the worst robberies in recent memory vs Pac?

    - Provodnikov wasn't supposed to be a easy tune up against a non accomplished fringe contender moving up? The Pianeta example not a reasonable one?

    - JMM, Matthysse, Garcia, Rios, Allakhverdiev, Provodnikov II, Khan, Peterson II. You're telling me Bradley is "P4P" clearly a level above all these guys and not just another guy in the mix?

    - 9lb advantage, your natural size advantage claim is a baseless opinion.

Keep trolling SJ, keep trolling :nut :nut As painful as this may be for you to accept im the objective one in this instance...ouch, must burn. Yank bias galore :D

Nothing but respect for you, but to call Bradley's win last night a "gift" is stupid...

In all the cases you mentioned, there were threads created to either attack the styles of the opponents listed (Rios and Kirkland), and there were numerous threads created in support of Pac following his third go round with Marquez.

Yet, in this case, the vitriol directed toward Bradley has been a lot more pronounced than it was toward the fighters you listed. No one, IIRC, created threads suggesting that Rios or Kirkland or Pac should give their belts to their opponents just because they were the recipients of some dodgy decisions. Hell, no one suggested that of Paulie Ayala, and he was involved in some decisions that were far more rank than the ones that Bradley has been involved in as of late.

Going into last night Bradley was one of my least favourite fighters, I never ever backed him in any fight, but after listening to all the **** he went through after the Pac fight i wanted to see him do great. I never followed Prod (only clips) but i was equally compelled by his background. I thought Tim fought a dumb fight but the judges got it right. Ultimately, I think both guys raised their stock last night.

They both made me a fan. Prod is not the most skilled SOB but he was a game a determined strong bloke. Bradley fought the worst fight possible and showed a lot of heart. I tip my hat to both guys, especially Bradley because all the pressure he has been under. He wanted to make a statement and take this guy out (he would have if had absolutely any power in those punches).

I do not understand how anyone could boo either guy last night or be upset with the decision . . . it was a close fight and in my mind the right guy had his hand raised.

I got all the respect in the world for Bradley but he is a grown ass man in a hard profession. He can't control what the fans say and if it affects him to the point where he jeopardizes his health or maybe his life, then maybe he should re-think his choice of professions. He is not the first, the last or the only fighter to be treated in this fashion. I'm not saying it's cool for fans to that **** but they have rights too, and one is the freedom of speech. One thing I know for sure is that boos can be turned into cheers. Ali was hated on, Hagler had beer and pop bottles rain down on him when he took the title from Minter. Look at Mayweather, people love to hate him. There are plenty of other fighters out there who are recipients of excessive verbal abuse. You can't let the fans get in your head. Bottom line.:bbb

But he's not pursuing fame, he chasing greatness. This isn't about being a celebrity, it's a sport. It's a job. He shouldn't have to receive hate for doing his job.

Do we? Which of the following do you disagree with?

    1) Bradley has been given two gifts in the row

    2) People are unhappy about this.

    3) Nobody should be surprised.

Nothing against Bradley but to be honest, Bob Arum created this situation. He wanted to create a new cash cow(which failed)since he felt that Pacquiao was on the decline. And so...Bradley had the decision. All this was not Bradley's fault but for the rest....

I couldn't have said it in a better manner than Visotsky did.
