Another thing I want to say. Bradley never needed this fight in order for me to give him resepct.

I give respect to all thoose who have the heart to step into the ring and fight. It takes alot more courage then people know, and to do it on a professional level. Hats off desert storm.

How did Bradley get gifted this fight, when he spent the vast majority of the fight outboxing him. He was outlanding him like 3 to 1.

This. I don't know what is ****ing wrong with people, I think the internet is breeding a culture of hate and disrespect. It feels harmless and anonymous but I think the fact people even think such things in the first place is a problem. And it's not surprising that negativity can make it back around to an athlete like Bradley.

He had a knockdown ruled a slip when if it was correctly ruled, the result would have been a draw.

and then Bradley would've been robbed because from round 3-11 he dominated 99% of those rounds. Like it wasn't even really competitive.

    1) OPPOSED: Bradley beat Rus' cleary enough, Pacquiao is debatable...

    2) AGREED: Many people are unhappy

    3) AGREED: They hate him for things other than boxing, so yes I'm not surprised.

He doesn't have a say in it.
He's in a spot where he is a celebrity and he will be either famous or infamous no matter what he aims for.
I'm not knocking him at all. Don't get me twisted. In fact, I'm glad he's chosen a tough job where we can watch safely on the sidelines.
What I am pointing out are the weak minded fans who are basically complaining about complainers. (which now makes me a third party complainer too)
Like you said, it's a sport. It's a very competitive sport where **** goes back and forth between teams, fans and media.
Like that other black guy usually says, "it comes with the territory".

Two of the three official scorecards gave Bradley the fight by one point. The ref ruled an obvious knockdown a slip, costing Prov the point that would have made the fight a majority draw. Bradley won yet another fight that he shouldn't have. Gift.

You have a point. Criticism comes with the territory. You have to be able to take it and roll with it as you chase success.

Death threats and such however I don't think are something you can really sign on for. I hate to say I think that level of hatred might be something more unique to boxing. Someone pointed out that in other sports, you'd be considered ridiculous for calling someone at the championship level like Khan or Guerrero a bum. Yet those comments have a presence on here and Bradley gets death threats in the mail?

Maybe some of them actually want Timothy Bradley to die. Don't you know about the sociopath fan by now? They like Mike Tyson because they were secretly hoping Tyson would kill the other fighter in the ring by accident. Tyson played into that fanbase by becoming and acting like a vicious sociopath himself. The sociopathic boxing fan is a legitimate fan demographic which should not be overlooked.
