    No he isn't.

Tim Bradley is a good, solid fighter. Nothing special.

In terms of intangibles, he's very special.

His intangibles should have allowed him to stop repeatedly eating rights and lefts from an inferior, low IQ opponent.

Considering all that we got last night I am glad this fight went the way it did, Timmy could have easily boxed as he did from round 3-11 had he not stood in there in the 1st 2 rounds like that he wouldnt have gotten buzzed like that which likely would have left him very fresh going into the 12th in which no knock downs would have happened.

However if he dominated this guy like that and boxed his ears off as he could have done people would degrade the win degrade Ruslan as a fighter he would not have gotten an ounce of credit, with that said the fight had to go the way it went any other way people today would be talking about the Pacquiao fight instead...

Bradley did what he normally does. He is not a stick and move fighter. He likes to, at some point, try to exert his strength and will on his opponent.

Provodnikov basically let Tim off the hook in this fight. Had he fought with an appropriate level of desperation for the entire fight -instead of waiting for the last two rounds-, he likely gets him out of there.

Bradley does what he needs to do and adjusts to him opponent. Against a taller Holt, he pressure him and wears him down to the body. Against Peterson would took the fight to him early and adjusted by deciding to outbox him and circle him the rest of the fight which was what was his gameplan was for this fight

Rewatch the first minutes of the fight. People are acting as if Bradley just dove into his chest and started firing.

Bradley started off boxing and circling, then he got caught. You can't circle and box effectively when your brain is ****ed; got to either quit, cover up, or fight it out. Tim chose to fight at that point, and only this is where the whole "wounded pride" theory comes into play. He wanted to prove something AFTER he got hurt.

His head cleared and he boxed well enough to win damn near all of the middle rounds. Then he got caught and hurt in round 11 aaaaannnnd... he wants to trade again.

    See a pattern?

I remember very clearly that Bradley took the fight to Ruslan and then got caught up close.
That's the main issue because once he got caught originally, he never recovered, so all the shots he got caught with after that had a much bigger effect on him and he couldn't box as well.

Bull****. Are you serious? Did we watch the same fight? Tim slaughtered him whenever he used his legs, and Provodnikov only had a chance when Tim decided to fight in his range and just sit in the pocket and slug.

If Provodnikov would have desperately threw wild punches he would have taken way more punches and probably would have been stopped on cuts or by Roach for taking too many punches.

Not the fight I saw at all. In the fight round Bradley was trying to slug it out and throw power punches on the inside. He was punching and up in the guys chest trying to over power him and back him up. It was a stupid strategy all along except for the body shots, that part of the strategy made sense, but he should have been in and out all night, he stayed in too long and eventually got caught.

Also his legs looked sluggish in this fight. Slower than usual. His balance wasn't as good, he looked ring rusty early on, as if he wasn't warmed up.

The 12th round where Bradley was essentially pushed to his knees was ruled as a knock down. I don't see you complaining about that being a push instead of a punch.

You're making excuses. The Ref could have ruled it either way and he did. When he couldn't see the push he ruled it a knock down. When he couldn't see the knock down he ruled it a push. But there is no way both were knock downs but I'll admit the first round was the only knock down I saw in the fight.

You don't beat the guys he beat in the way he beat them in different weight classes without being a special fighter. He just needs big fights.

If he fights Marquez and win you'll say Marquez was too old.

His opponent was stronger than him and tough. He fought the wrong strategy, it happens. Floyd almost got knocked out by Mosley. Pacquiao got knocked out by Marquez. No it doesn't mean you're no longer a great fighter because you survive a tough fight.

    Bradley survived a tough fight.

I caught the last two rounds and the quick highlights they showed at the end. Tim gave it his all. He did it to prove a point. All the people still talking trash about him aren't real boxing fans. How can you boo a man who just went to war for 12 rounds?
