We'll see. Bradley has never faced a big guy like Harris. Harris seems to be on the backswing of his career, but he's a live dog. Have to give it to Bradley. That's a much tougher first defense than he has to take. He could have easily taken a gimme fight against Rees or M'Baye or someone like that instead of against a dangerous guy who always has a puncher's chance.
Good first defence; since Vivian was KO'd last time out vs Junior Witter I think it's smart matchmaking as well. He beats Harris and he has legitimacy beyond just one solid win.
omfg when are the decent 140lb prospects going to fight for a title. WHAT THE ****? Seriously WhY is this nob fighting Vivian Harris? How many times is Harris gonna get a shot at something big? God blessed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!';laks'dlfak'sl;kd'flaks;da'fsdf
Bradley was a mandatory, so there wasn't a rematch clause. Honestly, Witter has a **** following, so Bradley could probably make just as much money, if not more money, fighting someone else. Bradley vs. Harris has the potential to be a barnburner, and even if it's not on a PPV undercard, it's the type of fight that could get picked up to headline a BAD card.
Thanks man, i really dont like witter anyway, its no wonder he has no following the way he has sneered at fellow fighters. Too arrogant.
Vivian Harris is shot - he was hopelessly outclassed by Witter, who to be honest should have had him out earlier. Champs shouldn't be allowed easy defences - why not a rematch, it would certainly prove more than beating Harris :deal
Many of the rounds were pretty close but you had to have Bradley 115-112 or 116-111. It could be argued that Witter blew the fight as much as Bradley won it, but at least the right man had his hand raised at the end. Fair point Paddy - but I would argue that Witter deserves a rematch more than Harris deserves a shot, taking into account my points above....... :think
Witter needs to get off his lazy ass, and instead of waiting around for a Bradley rematch, fight a contender to put himself back in position to get a belt back. He's 35, and ruining whats left of his career. And he doesnt even deserve a rematch. Its nones fault but his that he blew the fight.
