His resume is better than Khan's and he has been on a bigger stage...2x. He should make more. But, it's not like Alexander has the same hype around him as when he and Bradley were undefeated. And the fight was not in St. Louis. Point is the better fights and the greater earning potential are not at Top Rank. Hell he might be in Berto's place had he jumped over to Haymon's stable sooner.
I doubt he'd be in Berto's place. Keith Thurman isn't, Amir Khan isn't, Shawn Porter isn't, Danny Garcia isn't. I don't think Mayweather would consider Bradley for his 49th fight either. However bare in mind Bradley resigned with Top Rank in early 2014 and was probably offered the Pacquiao rematch as part of the deal and was before PBC. He made 6m from that fight, which if he didn't land the Mayweather sweepstakes he'd probably be looking at about 4 or 5 fights to make going to GBP at the time.
I think he'd definitely be in the running if he were positioned better. And even still he'd have better opportunities, if he didn't get the call for a Floyd fight, to finish his career on a high note. I understand the Manny fights. But, there is nothing left when you are fighting the Garcia, Vargas and Sadam Ali types. He will just wind up as a food for some young fighter to feast on later...Crawford maybe. Oh well...
