Does anyone know what happened with that? According to an article that I read on the scene, Jose Suleiman said

"Bradley's representatives called to say they want to keep the WBO title. But we approved the fight with the condition that the winner would have fifteen days to determine what title to keep. Because of the way things have gone with unified titles, organizations lose all authority. So I'm not in agreement with that. "

"If he does not pick the WBC, then we understand that he relinquises the title, it'll be vacant and we'll order the two highest available challenger to fight for it."

Does this have anything to do with Devon "The Great" Alexander becoming the mandatory for the WBC strap?

It must do. It also has something to do with the WBC having some recent bad experience with a certain beltholder who went out of his way not to fight his mandatory challenger. Not least, it has a lot to do with sanctioning fees and control, which again translates into money.

Hopefully this will get people to realise that the sanctioning bodies do not care about boxing at all. If you cant even unify whats the point of recognizing these titles. Whilst not the best method the Ring title stands alone now for me.

According to some article on DKP, Alexander is the sick em guy for Nate Campbell so don't be shocked if that goes down for the WBC LWW title.

If Bradley vacates the WBO title, the Pacquiao/Hatton winner will fill the vacancy, if he Vacates the WBC title ex champ Junior Witter and #1 contender Devon Alexander will fight for the vacant title.

Perfect example of the problem with boxing at the moment.
Keep the WBO belt! Bin the WBC, shame on the fighters who fight for the dumped belt.
Hatton and Paq are the top two. IBF and WBA don't matter here. WBC will be vacant.
IBO and Ring are Hatton. Hatton versus Pac for number 1 spot. Undisputed champ with Bradley as top contender.
