Bradley got caught with a cracking shot. People talk about boxer's power on here like they're characters on some sort of video game with power stats... any boxer of world level calibre can punch...anyone can get knocked out if caught right...the fact Bradley didn't go down is a credit to his conditioning...he did well to stay up.
Simply - I wouldn't want to be in round 12 needing a knockout against him. Vargas could have had another 3 rounds he wouldn't have got Timothy out of there. He fought Ruslan whilst concussed for 12 friggin rounds taking bombs. If Bradley had just abit more power he would have stopped Vargas within 6 rounds last night...it was a beatdown. Vargas is a little chump...the way he celebrated thinking he got a lucky with the 1 single punch he managed to land all fight long.
unfortunately they do exist, tim was fine, recovered very quickly, no chance of getting stopped, ZERO. :deal
Clearly Bradley has always had a shaky chin to a degree. His conditioning has allowed him to survive so far though. If he keeps fighting it's going to end up being a huge episode of shattered glass.
Vargas isn't someone you'd consider to be a power puncher. Bradley has a solid chin but I wouldn't call it elite. I'd like to see how that chin holds up against strong WW's like Thurman, Maidana or Porter. I think Thurman in specific would be able to knock him out. But I enjoy watching Bradley fight, he's a fun fighter. I used to think he would be competitive with FLoyd, but now I recognize he's way too sloppy for a technician like Mayweather who would more than likely outbox the hell out of him in a one sided exhibition.
While i can perfectly tell you're totally re****ed :deal In the video you posted there's Algieri jumping straight back up, contrarily to Bradley getting up on noodle legs and flopping backwards with crossed eyes :good Thanks for proving my point, you're either a dumbo or a kind person... Hmmmm.. no, clearly a dumbo wned:beat:hellohi
He ran out of gas by the end of 10th round. I think what happened in the 12th got more to do with his stamina than anything else. The same thing happened in every fight since the first Pac fight. He was knocked down in the 12th against Ruslan, and he got the draw vs Chaves because he ran out of gas in the last 2 rounds again. http://i.imgur.com/dnRBj82.jpg Every ref scored the last 2 rounds in favor of Chaves in that fight, a fight Bradley would most certainly win if he could keep his stamina for the full 12 rounds. Now he managed to finish the fight vs mediocre Vargas, but if he doesn't do anything about this, most top guys such as Thurman, Brook, Porter can beat or even stop him late.
