How many tickets can Californian "superstar" Tim Bradley sell facing a unknown Russian fighter in his his home state? I'm thinking maybe 1500 (that's assuming the prices are rock bottom) Am I in the ball park?... or out to lunch?
He could sell a couple tickets IF they bundle him with a good Co-feature. Arum could stack the card with a decent under it will sell. (Mayweather effect)
Then he should have fought Khan and not been an ass when he got a gift against Pacquiao. Hard enough to gets fans when you have no power and a slappy headbutt style. Also talks too much when he doesn't need to... Pre Pacquiao: "Oh I know how to fight Pacquiao, I know all his weaknesses blah blah - look all I have to do is step back and avoid his left hand" On Khan: "Oh Khan gonna get it, I'm coming for you Khan" Just ends up looking silly.
i sure he got much less then he has before the fight with pacquiao.. im personally loss respect for him..but who know he may sell a coupe of ticket if it in he hometown.
You get recognition when fans appreciate your fights. Tim is about as exciting as a turnip. He wants respect but doesn't fight in any fashion to command it. Face it the guys a boring fighter. He commands millions per fight and yet puts on dull snooze fests. When he starts putting on exciting fights the recognition will come.
Give him an opponent that won't run from him and puts on an amazing show. Guys like Alexander and Casamayor won't do nothing for him. But Peterson? That was a great fight. Too bad he already dominated him
