Must be the worst trainer ever

Kellerman "was there a idea after 4 rounds something changes?"

    Tim lane "yea"

    kellerman "whats gonna change?"

Tim lane "Ill tell you after hes gonna put him to sleep in a few mins im gonna let him go in one more round i got him in the cage right now im gonna let him out of the cage":patsch

Kellerman"the plan is to have algieri knock Pacquaio out?"

Tim "yes but i still got him in the cage he listens to me very well ill let him lose in a round or so"

    Kellerman "round 10"

    Tim "yes"

    BOOM

Lampley "Well thats gonna make it difficult for the plan to materialize"

The timing including the delusional comments was one of the funniest moments in boxing in 2015:lol::lol: its as if it was planned

Yeah, this guy was a clown. Way over his head. That said, it wouldn't have mattered if Algeiri had Freddie Roach, Eddie Futch AND Angelo Dundee in his corner, he still woulda lost.

I think he was a kickboxer trainer or something you could clearly see his lack of fundamentals for boxing.

Didn't he take a fairly average fighter pretty far?

What plan do you have that was going to have Algieri beat Pac?

its nothing to do with that even if algieri had futch or roach he would of still got destroyed

Its just the way he went about the cage and even the thought chris could knock out Pac

Freddie Roach has said more ridiculous stuff, as have many trainers.

Someone talking **** in an interview either to hype a fight or whatever does not make that person an incapable trainer.

Only an incapable poster would think that had anything to do with someone's ability as a trainer, especially considering that trainer took an average fighter pretty far.

You want to see incapable trainers, look at the bozos in Tyson's corner for the Buster Douglas fight.

So you saying Algieri's trainer is the reason he lost? Bm you're a ****ing idiot, Algieri was a cherry pick through and through. Learn the sport.

No question those clowns were totally incompetent. I still remember watching them put that balloon on Tyson's swollen eye. What a joke.:patsch

But this trainer that Algeiri had was clearly in that ballpark too, completely out of his league. Maybe he's a good boxercize trainer or whatever, but he had NO clue what to do in this fight, as his comments demonstrate.

Cutman Joe Souza had said that when he worked Gatti's corner he would bring a 100 pound inswell the size of a clothing iron.

He would've lost regardless but it wouldn't have been so ridiculous and it would've benefited Algieri in the long run if he would've started with someone else. Can't complain too much though, Lane is a kickboxer after all...

Come on - stop making fun of this guy. He did a great thing in taking a kickboxer to the A-level in boxing and earning Chris a shot at Pacquiao. Lane became overzealous and started talking like he was a demigod, and got knocked back down to Earth. It happens to a lot of people.
