Lara schools him imo, and I'm a fan of Tim the Tool Man. Tim still flails and gets flustered when trying to counter, even against lesser opposition. He would be picked apart by a smooth operator like Erislandy.

I don't know how much Lara has left, the clock is ticking. 4 years ago..............hell 3 years ago this is an easy choice. His last 2 fights prove nothing but the fact that he was still able to take Castano to the brink leads me to lean towards Lara though.

Tszyu beats the brakes off of old Lara he sets a pace like Hurd did but is a much better boxer than Hurd.

How old is Lara now? He's certainly past his sell date so he would be in an uphill battle at this point.

I've underestimate Tim so many times in the past and he continue to improve.

If you ask this a year ago, I would say Lara without any hesitation. Today, it's a 65-35 fight in favor of Lara.

Tim has the tools to make things hard for Lara, specifically his body attack. Lara has a habit of keeping his guard high, sometimes exposing the left side of his body. Tim loves to target that area and he's been putting a hurting on people with his left hook to the body.

This is a case of a more-skilled fighter with a hole in his defense that the less-skilled fighter can exploit and can beat him with it.

The saying “ the sons of giants are dwarfs” so far is not true of Tim, unlike Chavez jnr.
I think he can beat Lara due to Lara getting a bit long in the tooth.

Lara that fought Canelo dominates Tim, the Lara that fought Hurd, still dominates Tim. Current Lara, would still give Tim hell, but fade in teh second half, and probably lose via SD.
