Tim Tszyu vs Jeff Horn knockout prediction thread

Well that's a bit of a letdown haha. It's a match up that truly deserves a 3rd fight. I guess Horn goes down to 154 then starting with Tszyu, with Zerafa staying at 160 as he has still managed to keep his high ranking with the WBA. Hope he can get another opportunity to fight Murata at some point.

The question of where the fight takes place is an interesting one.

I can't see it being in either Melbourne or Bendigo b/c the Victorian government won't kick in money if there's not a Victorian involved.

Perth would be the most neutral venue but unfortunately they are five years behind the eastern states. News that Horndog beat Pacquiao & that Junior Tszyu has turned pro is yet to reach them.

Horndog won't fight Tszyu in Sydney which leaves Brisbane as the most logical venue.

Townsville has been mentioned, but that's still in Queensland so it's hardly neutral. If Junior Tszyu has to go to Queensland, I think he'd prefer BrisVegas having fought there before.

I've even seen Canberra mentioned as a possible venue. The ACT government would likely be willing to kick in funding for it but not to the extent that the Queensland government would. So Brisbane it is!

Not the silliest suggestion I've heard. Particularly if they want a neutral venue with neutral officials.

Although your government over there won't even fund Joseph Parker fights so that rules it out.

 

Tszyu looks to have more potential than the sons of famous fighters following in their footsteps. a lot more likeable than Horn too obviously but it might be too soon. Although Horns ceiling is obviously domestic so wouldn't be surprised if he lost this one either.
