Agreed. Thurman, for whatever reason stepped away after the Pac loss. He could hang with the best at 147. He is no slouch when he is prepared and focused. As you mention, very intriguing.

Hope this isn't the beginning of him cherry picking for the next 5 years. Hopefully he's just fighting a stay busy fight, while the bigger fight materialize.

Do the guys at PBC really think this PPV is doing any serious business in the US? An Aussie vs someone who fights every other year, hasn´t been relevant in this decade and 5 years ago wasn´t good enough to beat an over the hill, small for the weight Pacman, now facing a prime fully sized Jr. middleweight with talent and punch.

The only good thing about this is that Tim will finally put Thurman out of his misery after misleading the boxing public about his return for the last several years.

That's what I remember too, trying to emulate the movie backfires in real life. Add Jeff Lacy as another disaster in the star spangled shorts.

Exactly this fight is only happening because The Houston Hare Charlo is terrified of Tszyu so Thurman is being sacrificed. Lubin was made an offer and didn’t want the smoke.

This is not the fight we all wanted but when them Houston and Orlando lads just want to talk and not fight, what can you do?

This is Tim’s big introduction to the States, his nascent, his birth if you will.

Come March 30 he will be Borrrnn in the TszyuSA!!

Tszyu has been active and bringing excitement to the division... The Houston hare has been ****ing it over by holding the belts hostage for nearly 2 years now. This questionable fight doesn't hurt the division anywhere near as much as Charlos shenanigans have.

Good on Tim for keeping the division alive. No one else is doing anything.

Yep true. I was harsh at first, but cooler heads have prevailed.

He'd fight anyone any time. Literally. Charlo has did a John Dillinger and gone on the run.

Lubin - Yeah nah. Just canon fodder.
Ortiz - Same. A young cub who'd be Lion Feed. I'd rather see him than Thurman but what do you do
Thurman - Still a joke but he was good. I'd rather see him fight Tszyu than Lubin.

In any case they're keeping him warm for the next bigger one's. Crawford fight will happen this year. The question is if Ortiz is before Crawf, or after.

At least thurman steps up to the plate. In active or not.

    Charlo, where you at buddy?
