As was talked about for the winner of today's fight. Who takes this class for the WBO 154 title?

For that matter. Tszyu would knock out Jamie Munguia the former WBO Titleist. And now that's not me getting ahead of myself and overrating Tszyu based on what he's accomplished thus far. Munguia was outboxed by and received a gift over Hogan, he has atrocious defense. It would be target practice just like his fight today. Only Munguia gets stopped outright.

Since I rated Adames fairly highly, and the version of Gallimore that Patrick beat a little more highly than the war torn dissipated shell of Horn that Tim beat, I lean towards Patrick here. He's no easy out and stylistically a lot more difficult an opponent to deal with. I saw nothing particularly special in Tim this morning, still the same old fighter, who was lucky to get a badly diminished fighter who probably should have never moved to Light Middleweight to begin with.

I think Gallimore was totally shot after Jrock. But Teixeira would almost certainly be a more difficult riddle for the young Tszyu to solve and it's not unlikely that he could come up short. However it's definitely the most realistic path to a title and would be a mega event in Australia. If Tszyu falls short he can always come again. But should he win.. it's onwards and upwards. Definitely the fight I want to see him in next.

It's hard to say. The question is if Tszyu has a home advantage in Australia or this is gonna happen on a neutral soil in the US. I would probably go with either guy depending on the venue. I think it's almost impossible to beat Tszyu in Australia. You have to knock him out and i don't think Teixeira can do that.

My opinion on this fight hasn't changed greatly.

Though Lil Tszyu exceeded my expectations against Horn, this is a much much different fight whichever way you look at it.
Teixeria is long, awkward and busy..for me just doesn't mesh well with Tszyu's patient, stalker approach. Which I think he can give himself time and room to work because of his level of opposition so far.

But in these times they should just go for it whilst they have the spotlight because waiting to long might see a title shot evaporate .

You might well be right. It will be a good learning experience regardless of the outcome with an opportunity to win gold. Let's see the fight happen. Sink or swim for Tszyu at this point.

Ideally if I was team Tszyu I would fight Zerafa next but I think you are right while there is a weaker sort of champion they should take the risk now and go for it.

Agreed can always take a step back and go for that fight afterwards if things don't pan out. It's a good gamble. And as others have suggested a loss to Teixeira should or happen that way probably wouldn't be that bad. Not a sustained beating or brutal KO. Tszyu would be able to bounce back pretty quickly as well as learn from it.
