Not sure about Norris, that would take some serious investigative work. Tim has 2 at this stage plus a former world champion and some other highly regarded guys who were just around that top ten mark.

Agree that it is a little early to compare but this is a close fight. It's absolutely not one way Norris as revisionists like to think. Norris had his flaws and his CV is not as deep as it appears when you consider the circumstances of many of his fights.

Tszyu is a very live dog here. And his power could be the difference because Norris could absolutely be hit and wasn't immune to being KO'd.

Stop trying to act like you know because it shows. Quincy was signed with Leonard and was being groomed for bigger things.Terry was coming off two losses so they picked Norris to be the person to showcase Quincy against and it backfired.

Jog on chump. Your pathetic back story doesn't mask the fact that Quincy was overhyped.

It's no different to saying Joe Joyce was a potential world champion as many did. Until he ran into a guy who could actually fight. Well Qunicy Taylor was no different. Norris beat him and then he got beaten twice by the muppet Vaca, proving that he wasn't actually very good to begin with. Ergo, Norris beating Quincy is not even close to the win you think it is.

Norris was a very good fighter in his shortish prime window. It's too early for Tim to hypothetically match these two.

I would put money on it that Tim is done in 3/4 years and you can tell everyone how great he was because he beat...........Harrison.

Ion know man............the thing is, I personally think Simon Brown "could" stop Tszyu as well though and he was physically strong.

Then Norris really only got folded against the best puncher in history and then Simon Brown. Tim ain't nowhere near the hitter Julian was and that right hand Simon hit him with was perfect, and was after showing he was physically stronger, he had hurt him to build up to it. Credit Norris avenged it professionally. We haven't seen Tim as a completed project yet. We haven't seen him against all kinds of adversity yet, he really hasn't had much pushback yet. He's looked elitish so far but...................

We've seen Terry's good, bad and ugly. I'm more comfortable leaning towards the guy who we've seen from all angles.

Tim is in no way even close to a Brown who would beat the hell out of Tim as well. Tim would not have the speed or power to deal with a Brown and if Tim attempted to bang with /brown its over.
I saw Simon train when he was a champion and he was a monster for a short time.

So, what are you basing Tzyu to beat A prime Norris on? Can't be resume. Although you say Norris had a weak resume, it is still better than the unproven Tszyu's. The eye test? Anyone on TT's resume that leads you to believe he beats a prime Norris? Just curious.
