It's all about whether you show up to fight. Or whether you show up to run. It takes no bravery at all to take a fat cheque and then spend 12 rounds running for the hills. Charlo's performance, if you can call it that, against Canelo was disgusting. Charlo is a coward. End of.
But it's not the end of it, he has unified every belt in the division and has jumped two divisions to take on the undisputed champion. It's not possible for him to be a coward after that.
How many fighters have unified every belt in their division and then jumped 2 divisions to take on an undisputed champion?
This is 100 percent spot on. I was a fan of Charlo before that '' fight '' with Canelo. A Tszyu rival or not, a ducker or not, I was still a fan. I'm not anymore.
He didn't take him on. He ran for 12 rounds. He shat himself. He never truly committed for more than a couple of combos. He looked scared and he was scared. One of the most pathetic performances if you can call it that I've ever seen.
You are being deliberately obtuse. Charlo’s performance against Canelo was cowardly. He dogged that fight. The fact that he has belts at 154 is irrelevant. A coward is a coward. Do you think he showed up to the Canelo fight actually tying to win? Because if you do, you’re a moron. So if he didn’t show up to the Canelo fight intending to actually try and win then by definition he is a coward.
He didn’t take Canelo on at all. Stop lying to yourself. He took that fight only for the payday. I don’t know which is more pathetic, Charlo’s performance or you defending it. Coward is a coward.
Which again comes back to the point that a coward is not a boxer who's unified every belt in a division and then jumped two divisions to take on the undisputed champion.
Nah Tim Tszyu wont win but he will be one of the top contenders for it considering he has 3 good wins this year. I would pick Crawford if the rematch were to happen this year but its not so I will probably go with Inoue if he beats Tapales.
And this is one of my biggest criticisms about everyone coming down on him. At no point in time throughout his entire career has he showed any sort of cowardice in the ring. He hasn't even been a pick and choose guy, he accepted everything that came his way. So for him to leap frog an entire division after completely conquering his own, fight a weight he had never fought at and fight the crown jewel of boxing (and yes Canelo is definitely the face of boxing) was a little foolhardy, but he reached for it. People don't like the Charlos, that's the only reason the blowback is as strong as it was. Original topic: It's silly to think anyone other than Crawford or Inoue will be FOTY. Absolutely silly.
I was here before and I will be here long after you . You can **** off if you want and never ever tell me what to SOB.
