Surely we have to favor Witherspoon at this stage!

Witherspoon shatters that fraud's glass jaw early.

Witherspoon wins by KO inside 4 rounds.

    Wilder is awful.

Wilder is the real deal. Ive been touting this guy since he came out of the amatuers. Hes about as close to a complete fighter as there has been in decades in a heavyweight. He has really boxing pedigree in his corner with Mark Breland and I think he will beat Wlad once they fight.

He would destroy the slow plodding Witherspoon.

On what basis would anyone come to this conclusion? All Wilder has done for six years in the pros is fight total stiffs - some of whom had him on the canvas - and washed up fighters like Harrison or Liakhovich, or guys who weren't that good to begin with, like Malik Scott or Bermane Stiverne.

On the contrary, the evidence would lead one to believe that Wilder is a manufactured fraud, fed hand-picked, easy comp to create hype. He's a modern-day Lamar Clark or Mac Foster - a guy with a bogus KO record who has serious flaws. In Wilder's case, it's a very suspect set of whiskers.

Wilder may indeed be the real deal I certainly hope so, but the jury is still out.
And he won't prove it by defending against the likes of Eric Molina.:-(

Wilder is consistently good against bad opposition
Witherspoon was inconsistent against good opposition.

I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to quote this after Wilder fights Povetkin.

Witherspoon by KO inside of 4. One overhand right and Wilder is doing the newborn calf again.

How can anyone say Wilder is horrible? Outside of Wlad, Wilder beat probably the most dangerous opponent at heavyweight with maybe exception of Povetkin who will be a lot easier to hit than Stiverne. Wilder won the title, but still needs more fights before he fights Wlad. Povetkin will be the perfect opponent after his BS title defense in his hometown.

    A bold prediction.

Of course if you are right, then you get to say "I told you so".
