I am a big fan of Spoon and his crab defense. However, the cross armed defense is not the best option vs a fast handed combination puncher who can find gaps in his guard. Still, i think Ruiz's weight and stamina issues work against him. I see Ruiz having success early landing some great combos. Witherspoon would use his cageyness to survive and wear down and outbox Ruiz using his tab and the occasional hard overhand right from there. Witherspoon UD 12.
