Superb idea. Though Diaz may not like it, as he is currently ranked in the top 3 or 4 at ww, and Sanchez is 2-3 in his last five. It'd be a great fight, but I think Nick would be entitled to a higher-ranked opponent next, like a Condit or an Ellenberger.
I wouldn't mind watching these 2 go at it again. Diego is a lil crazy now so this fight should be more entertaining
The first fight is a straight up classic. I feel like Diego would be more confident in his striking now, and would get boxed up pretty badly. Diaz is also much better at BJJ now than when they first fought.
So give Diaz an easy fight ? No way he should be fighting top level guys at 170 not Diego Sanchez who simply is not a-level at 170. He is a flabby 155 lber.
