It was a good run for Alexander The Great and I hope he saved his money and invested well because his run at mid level journeyman is over.
You guys suck at life. A few loses doesn't mean its time to give up. I don't quite understand your logic. A man loses 4 fights in his professional career and he should just give up? Wow, no wonder you guys are posters on a forum instead of trying to accomplish goals in real life.
He loss two fights in one year against soft punchers. All of his loses were against guys considered soft punchers. He beat Maidana and Matthysse and loss to Khan and Martinez. WTF?!!
Alexander's best days are now past him, and he was never that great to begin with. I wouldn't say he has to retire but if he did, I wouldn't either be surprised or see it as a bad decision.
funny how no one ever calls on the guy with 39 losses who gets starched by everyone contender he faces how about Galen Brown who just got knocked out by Eddie Chambers for his 32nd loss? havent heard anyone mention his name
He peaked very early in his career. His career as a whole is underrated. That said, I would doubt he beats any legit top 10 guys from now on. His physical shape looks quite poor and he clearly doesn't have the speed. He's also missing the hunger. It's like he doesn't care any more and that's no good for someone who always looked like they didn't care very much.
Guys like Alexander, Dawson, Paulie, Broner and so on wouldn't even be allowed off the domestic scene in any other country.
Are you serious? I often just shrug off the never ending pile of awful posts on this site, but you really do have to shake your head at the above post. Willie, you are aware that you can win a fight with attributes other than just punch power? Also, all of his loses are against light punchers? What about Porter? Seriously, this board needs to become test based. You don't pass the test, you can't post.
