How much longer must Wilder feast on utter bums? It looked promising a few years ago when Wilder made his first big step up against Dustin Nichols and was calling out the Klitschko's after that stunning KO that really put a marker down on the heavyweight scene.

Here Wilder calls out the champ.

But since then it's all been downhill and Wilder has somewhat stagnated. Which is a petty because tough journeyman Zack Page is still waiting for his shot.

Top Prospects that Page has so far brought along.

    Pianeta

    Perez x2

    Gerber

    Fury

    Charr

    Ortiz

    Juan Carlos Gomez

    Yoan Pablo Hernandez

    Sebastian Koeber

    Mitchell

    Pulev

    Banks

And many more, time for Wilder to step up I think.

    Zack Page is my boy!!!

He sparred Ola Afolabi recently in Germany (Page is a sparring partner for Wlad Klitschko right now).... and he gave Afolabi fits.

And, if we're being fair about Page's record: There's no doubt he beat Tom Dallas, Manuel Charr, Derric Rossey, Pianeta.... and many others.
Guy gets robbed more often then a bank.

I think that Wilder is doing ok, his opponents though not great have been getting better

I think he just needs to find ppl to test his stamina and defense and help him develop strategy and Ring IQ

as his foes get tougher and go longer that will all come

Wilder is young and in no hurry for all we know Vitali will retire at the end of the yr and in 3 or 4 yrs Wald may be gone

Wilder would be in his peak by then and ready to challenge

why Michael Grant this guy he has all the time in the world

in todays boxing ppl feel the need to rush to a belt fight for a title in 20 fights or less, but boxing is a marathon not a sprint your legacy is for a career as a whole not you first 3 or 4 yrs

if moved right he may win a belt someday

I'd like to him in vs Page, King, and Harris. Maybe throw Rossy in there as well.:deal

Then take him across the river and see how he handles a Bydenko, and even Dimitrenko.:deal

Any word who Page is fighting next? Surely it's only a matter of time before Price and Glazkov look to use him to move a step up the ladder.

Right now Page is just concerned about working with Wladimir.

He said that after sparring Ola Afolabi he said, "I guess I just gave you another reason to fight me at cruiser".

Page said he'd love to fight at cruiser. He's a small heavyweight - naturally a cruiser.

I'd love to see Wilder-Page. Page would test him.

King would spark Wilder though. Wilder has a chance of at least outworking Page.

I've long maintained - Zack Page or Darnell Boone with proper funding, training and promotion, both could have been titlists or at least long-time contenders.

I'd love to see Page rattle off a series of good wins at 200 and get a title shot. That would be the icing on the cake for his kind of career.

Would be nice to see Wilder fight Seth Mitchell, Thompson, Chambers, Arreola, Boytsov, Ustinov, Pulev, somebody who can breathe!

Maybe Page may yet fight Ustinov since he's fighting on the undercard of the Mormeck fight but has no opponent. Would make sense to use Page who's already there sparring anyway.

If it does happen he'll be well prepared after facing the best big giant heavy there is out there.
