People on this forum explained to me that Fury can't pull a crowd. He's got no following apparently. Wembley is out of the question, I've heard. I'm not so sure. I think the tabloids can build this one up. And Wlad is a pretty big name, coming to Britain to defend a world heavyweight championship, anyway. I imagine this can be built up. But I'm no expert. I thought Froch and Groves were unknowns too.
Big chief support could make it stadium worthy, off the top of my head a deal with Sauerland to get Groves vs Jack on the bill (in London). Something like that...?
I doubt Sauerland would work with Frank given the Sky tie up. BJS vs Lee would be a great support fight/ co-main event. I still think Fury needs that breakout victory in order to cement himself as the default No.1 contender and not many fights would get him that breakout victory bar a victory over Wilder.
Vlad won't be able to clinch not fought anyone of furys height or reach for a long time add to that fury is NOW a good athlete. Good fight IMO still make Vlad slight favourite.
If bjs v lee is on the bill would easily fill a 40,000 arena with the travelling community out in force. Be chaos but a good night.
Things is wlad is a proven fighter where as fury has not beat a top heavy yet so no one knows if hes got it or not
Chisora & Hammer literally didn't land a single punch on Fury between them in his last two fights. Not sure he is that easy to hit at all any more.
Wlad is entering the unknown against Fury. Cunningham said he saw a future ATG in camp for Haye, when fURY was in superb shape He is even more improved now if he fights Wlad. With his movement and angles he gives Wlad fits. And he's a much harder hitter than given credit for. If he sits down on his shots , he's doing you some serious harm. I'd be very surprised if Wlad takes the fight
Wlad does better against tall opponents, even ones taller than himself.. He'll KO Fury early just like he did Pulev.
I really fancy Fury's chances. He looks like he's coming into form. He's got fast hands, he's big, he's a good punch picker, he's young and he's boxed with discipline in recent fights. Stylistically he causes Wlad problems. Klitscho is the vulnerable one here. He can be hurt by anyone who can get to him. Fury just might be that man.
