I have to admite, don't know any of the young guys thats gonna take over the sport like before. Lazy to go online to look for news. I only read about guys I already know about. Why don't HBO or showtime start taking about whats happening in the boxing world. Sometimes they show a boxer life story which is good and all. But I rather hear story on what's going on in the world. There are a lot of good fights thats not on tv. Our sport don't get coverage as it is. How about they tell us about that title fight that happened in japan, mexico euro etc. Maybe give us some clips. If HBO got a big fight on lets say featherweight. Why not talk about who the top 10 guys that the ring magazine has? I know there gbp bias but you got to start somewhere. You got euro, asian and south americans invading the scene already. By the time we get to see them fight, they don't have to try to sell them as hard to us. We would already got an idea who they are.

Usually, with every telecast Max will do a segment about different fighters in certain divisions. Just a couple of weeks ago, for example, the Paulie-Khan fight there was a huge segment about all the 140 fighters...because, just in case you didn't know, the Khan-Malignaggi fight was at 140, the JWW division.

I've seen that. It's actually pretty rare when they do that. 140 is pretty stacked so they usually talk about guys there on a regular basis. Most of does guys you see already fighting on there network. They should do more of that. Maybe they can do some updates as well. Kilitcho just fought. I don't think they showed that on HBO. Maybe next week on the cotto fight They can mention he just won, among some other fighters as an update for the not so hardcore fans.

Thinking about what I've said. It's really hard to fix boxing. There is so much going on in boxing with all the governing body you don't know what guys to talk about unless there well known. Would boxing benifit if they talk about who is holding what title? maybe name who is holding the IBF, WBC, WBA, WBO **** the other weird belt not even sure if I should mention WBO. I have to admit i don't really know who is holding what sometimes.

HBO already does that for every show when they preview the entire division that is featured.

Giving more coverage to the sanctioning bodies beyond that is just stupid.
