well, we all now that this is just a charade from floyd from the very start. floyd thought that march is too soon for pac but pac said come-on, let's do it in march. floyd was caught off-guard and is now demanding other things that he knows would trouble the fight by this hard-line stance. floyd really doesn't want a piece of pac. easy fight eh floyd?
I think it's called principle. Why the **** does some whiney-assed baby dictate the testing terms of a fight....no matter who he is fighting? Surely the usual, official testing will suffice? He made stupid demands which he knew would be declined, in order to get out of a fight that he never really wanted in the first place. In making these demands and Pac refusing, allow him to walk away and his huggers actually believing that it's all Pacs doing. ****s.atsch
The only fight that matters with regards PBF now is Pacquiao, its the fight EVERYONE wants to see, if it doesnt happen it doesnt matter who PBF fights from now till kingdom come, that he avoided this superfight overshadows it all, because he will have denied us all the biggest fight of our generation.
quit blaming Mayweather you fools, he said YES Pac said NO so how is this Mayweathers fault. The guy hasnt said one word expect for I'll do the same test that Pac does. PAC is the ***** thats saying no and is clearly ducking the best fighter hell ever fight
Come, on you already know the answer. Pac just moved up and took on Hatton, and DH. It took PBF years to fight those guys, he has been ww for a long time now.The marquez fight should not even be mentioned, PBF fought him at ww. Throw in the fact that Pac has started at a smaller weight class than PBF and took on Cotto. We are not even talking about his lasts fight but a bigger span of time. When, Pac took on the Barreras, Morales, Marquez, PBF fought the Bruseles, Ndous, Gattis. I am not gonna say that PBF has only fought garbage these last years. But at this stage, everybody (except you) agrees that he has to fight a real threat.
I never realized how dumb some fans can be. all I ever hear is that would mayweather ask another opponent to get tested? My answer to that would be why would that be necessary? If someone is cheating, you want to call them out on it. Mayweather probably knows something and as an athlete in a combat sport has the right to fight someone who is clean. is he going to ask another fighter to get tested, maybe, if he feels that tat fighter is on roids, or anything else for that matter. I know many of you go lots of hate for Floyd, and that's cool. You should not allow it to cloud your honest opinion and feeling about what's going on here. You say that Mayweather is boring and pacman is exciting. Guys that can't get hit or rarely get hit is attractive to me b/c i know it's b/c of their skillset. Guys who simply stand and trade does not do it for me, so when you speak of exciting and boring, it all depends on your preference, but most of you don't know boxing anyway.
we all know that floyd has an outstanding resume. even hatton and oscar, he gets alot of credit. the criticism is he ducked all the elite welters of his time. from margarito, cotto to shane. and now he will duck pacquiao by resorting to press propaganda. now if he would not fight pacquiao and fight maybe the winner of mosley-berto or williams, at least we could say that he is challenging himself and forget that he ducked pac.
I think everybody agrees with you. At this stage, Floyd has to get lose of his safety first approach, otherwise the media would kill. him. At 33 you don't have that much time left and teh media's patience is gone.
It does not matter if Pac has something to hide or not or if he should take the test or not. If it is not Pac, Floyd has to face another elite fighter. After having a tune up against MArquez and at age 33, there are no more excuses left.
Nah, it ain't as simple as that. You gotta see thru this. Mayweather didn't simply say YES, he said YES, BUT... and asked for something that's never been asked before of a pro fighter, and without any reason - Pac has never tested positive for roids or been suspected of taking roids before Floyd Sr. spread some rumours. Pac wanted the fight, but he doesn't like to be treated as a puppet here by the Mayweathers. Floyd needs Pac more than Pac needs Floyd, so Pac just turned his back on him and said **** you. If you ask me, Mayweather is the ***** here, and not only did he get what he deserved by sneakingly defaming Pac, no, he also got what he wanted. He can go on cherry-picking now.. And no, I'm not a *******, and yes, I think Floyd would beat Pac if they ever met.
I agree with you to a point. Does Mayweather have any right to start asking his opponent to take blood tests that are not required by the boxing board? No is the simple answer. But another way of looking at it is that Floyd obviously has nothing to hide and his team are suspicious that Pacquaio "might" have been taking performance enhancing drugs only detectable through Olympic style drug testing. What is the problem with both fighters proving they are completely clean of anything before fight night? In what is the biggest fight for years, between the number #1 and number #2, is there really a problem in both fighters having to have a small, random sample of blood taken pre fight? Pac is coming out worse in this public battle I'm afraid. Floyds team are ready and willing to have a random, Olympic standard, blood test taken before the fight. Pacquaio's team, for whatever reason, are refusing. Why is Pacquaio on the verge of throwing away a $40m payday for the sake of proving he's not taking drugs?
Mayweather knows nothing. Why is it necessary for Pac to take this extra testing?? All this talk about Pac not being clean started when Floyd Sr. saw his man Hatton get destroyed by Pac in two rounds, and decided that he shouldn't take any responsibility for it. So he started talking, saying things like 'Paquiao must be on something, no way he could beat my fighter otherwise..' and 'Ricky Hatton never listened to anything I told him bla bla...'. That was embarrassing enough in itself. It increased after he saw Pac beat Cotto, when Floyd Sr. realized that Pac might eventually have a shot at beating lil Floyd. 'He thought 'Pacs getting too dangerous, now let's degrade him by saying he's on some ****...'. Nobody of you even thought about Pac taking roids before Floyd Sr. spread some rumours. See how it works? And why haven't the Mayweathers asked olypic style drug testing for Ricky Hatton, who balloons up to 190lbs between fights and then comes down to 140lbs again as if by miracle? Or from JMM, who moves up three weight divisions in three years while being in his mid-thirties and whitout getting fat? I'm not implying Hatton or JMM take roids, but if Pac is getting suspected by the Mayweathers, why weren't they?
