Got those Everlast half-boot/half lo-top shoes. They were alright for about a month before the leather ripped right on the outside of the foot. Another guy in my gym got the same ones, and his lasted 2 weeks lol.

Anyhow, here's what I'm thinking about:

    Adidas Tygun II Boots: http://www.boxingdepot.com/cl-sh-602.html

    Nike Machomai Boots: http://store.titleboxing.com/nike-machomai-boxing-shoes-tall.html

    Rival High-Tops: http://store.titleboxing.com/rival-high-top-boxing-boots.html

Anyone have any experience with any of these, or got any other suggestions?

yes - I always prefer an Adidas brand over the other brands. Adidas has a major stake in the wrestling shoe line. The wrestling and boxing shoe is similar in the lower foot area. These guys know how to make a shoe. I do not like your choices though. I would prefer a lower cut shoe which would allow me to maneuver a little more than I would if I had the high cut shoe.

I have adidas boxhog that I like, they are a bit uncomfortable though and don't kind of make you stand flat footed. The rivals are also on sale for $39.99 so those can't be a bad deal. The tyguns I've heard wear out pretty fast.

I prefer Adidas over other brands as well. Not just boxing shoes but basically anything.
