Time for Pacquiao to retire and win Presidency of the Philippines

If you arent filipino and you havent seen him in plenary sessions, nor have you read about any bill he has passed or authored, then you have no business talking about him as president.

With regards to the constitutional requirements, those are bare minimum requirements. If you know what they are then you know it just for inclusivity, but for someone to be "presidentiable" they must be above and beyond those constitutional requirements. A middling congressman and a subpar senator is not fit for the highest position, to suggest otherwise utter ignorance.

 

He deserves all the love and respect as a boxer and a philanthropist. But he is not fit for public office, nor has he showed competence in holding such position.

 

Lets talk about ignorance, what do you actually know about him as a senator or a congressman? Do you even know the state of most voters in the country? Do you understand how politics works in this country? By lobbying for more incompetent individuals, does that help society?

 

Utter ignorance. A lot of people in the Philippines are misinformed. So they end up voting for people who they know. Actors and boxers get voted for because people see them often on tv or other platforms.

You dont even know whats actually happening. Plus even if they were voted once, they should be judged on their performance during their last term, not because they are boxing icons. He has been incompetent both in the congress and in the senate. But you wouldnt know that because you dont really have a clue on whats happening here. You give motherhood statements about democracy yet fail to incorporate the actual facts and circumstances of how politics work in this country. You talk about him being voted yet give no tangible argument on why he actually deserves the position. Then you lobby for him to take a higher office when he has shown over multiple terms why he wasnt even competent in the lower office he held or is holding. That is ignorance. Basing it off of him being a boxing icon.

 

This is a boxing group. Lets just stick to boxing. A field where manny deserves all the love and respect.
