Now I can't blame people for saying Burns should be fighting guys a step up from Harrison, but Mitchell had beatin Prescott and Murray at Lightweight, Moses was a former champ and same with Katsidis. Some people are just never satisfied.

    Yes they are.

Vasquez is the best bet in my opinion. Leave Broner and Demarco alone for the now.

    Agreed

Yep this is true. People will not give Ricky the credit. He HAS beaten guys at world level. Lets not **** about here.

What i am wondering is what next for Mitchell?

    Mitchell v Rees?

    Mitchell v Harrison?

I think his last 3 fights has clearly showed he is world class. The problem is he should not step back against Harrison it would be big in Scotland but not beneficial for Burns. He needs to take the next step and I would unify the title but he should go for WBA or IBF as Broner is fighting for WBC. Maybe win one of them and set the clash up with Broner it would be HUGE!

Mitchell v Rees or Harrison he needs to bounce back straight away if he is to stand a chance. He does not need a feeler fight. He needs to get back in there and attempt to worm his way back in.

Mitchell Vs Murray rematch makes sense for both. Last chance saloon fight that would sell.

Yeah i agree, this is why i'm suprised Murray didn't take the Harrison fight when offered for the fact a win would put him right back in the mix.

That arena was packed tonight so it might be a double edged sword for Burns.

No doubt VVarren is happy to stay in Scotland shipping in some TTGs along the way. Will Burns push it or just take the pay days?

I mean he has lost two times for World title has Mitchell so its nothing to be ashamed about. But if he is to become a World champ he needs to bounce back with Rees, Murray or Harrison and then push himself back in the rankings

As for Burns he wants to steer clear of the Harrison's in this world in my opinion fight would only be big in Scotland and it would be better to unify but unfortunatly due to the other titles being contested for he will have to wait till March.

I was there tonight and Harrison is so not deserving of a fight with Ricky Burns. FW needs to do one and give Burns a proper fight. Ricky is definitely in the top 3 in terms of current British boxers if not right up there and half the UK doesn't know who he is. He doesn't need to fight someone who looked pretty laboured tonight.

All this stuff about Harrison is laughable, i wasnt impressed by his 1st comeback fight, his opponent was a young novice , and this 2nd fight Scott got so called wobbled, whats going on here is the name HARRISON its the name but he aint the same. Still Harrison must prove himself if he wants big fights not expect gifts just because he is who he is.

Last time he was in a similar position a Norwegian, a Togolese posing as a TTG and Nicky Cook were served up. I have no faith that Frank will even attempt to put Burns in a proper big fight.
