Depends how long the rest of the card goes...Walker vs Meehan probably won't be on to at least 830pm local time..If that goes into the late rounds and then Dib-Escobedo make the rounds..the main probably won't be on to 1030pm or later local time. So about the same time in the morning for you or there abouts. Some promotions get on with it and whip the fights out quickly without much bull**** inbetween...others drag on with heaps of promotional crap and blabber between fights.
In Uruguay you are 2 hours behind the world standard, GMT (British/western Euro time) Tasmania is GMT+11. So while right now it's 6:30pm on Tuesday night in Uruguay, it's 7:30am Wednesday morning in Tasmania. The main event should be on about 10ish Wednesday night local time in Tasmania - which will mean around 11am GMT, 6am here for me in Boston, and 9am for you in Uruguay. :good
Having watched the weigh in video. Geale is said to have come in at 73kg, that's 0.6 over the 160lb limit. And yet nothing seems to have been mentioned. Why?
Geale made weight just fine. 72.35 kilograms. (159.5 lbs) Wherever you read 73, they just rounded up.
Ah okay. I guess i'm just used to the preciseness generally shown elsewhere. Who do you think is going to win IB? I hope that Princess Dib gets put down. I also see Geale winning 8 rounds or so against Adama, possibly putting him down once along the way.
I think Geale will dominate Adama, and win by either shutout or ref stoppage. I fear Dib will box scared against Escobedo and run to a boring UD. FYI, Escobedo failed 3x to make weight so he isn't eligible to win the IBF title. edit: n/m he did ultimately make it.
It wouldn't be any more a stretch than the Calzaghe from Up Top stopping Manfredo.:yep Adama is no defensive wizard and Geale throws a lot.
