Juan Manuel Marquez – a modern day great
    By Shaun Brown

These days growing old in any walk of life does not mean what it used to. There was a day when being over 30 meant you were finished and if you were over 50… well, the grim reaper wasn’t too far away.
As we approach the end of the first decade in our new century we have mature women, defined as ‘cougars‘ as they embark on a quest looking for a younger life partner. And we have elderly gentlemen who possess the body of someone much younger such is the desire to increase their life expectancy. Age is no barrier in modern day life as it is equally not in boxing and Juan Manuel Marquez is one of sport’s finest examples.
The 37-year old Mexican is one the sport’s elder statesmen along with fellow pugilists such as Bernard Hopkins, Vitali Klitschko, Shane Mosley and Glen Johnson. Between the four men they have a combined age of 156. And they are all still plying their trade at the right end of the spectrum.

I think you're underestimating the amount of people who fancy Kats to pull it off.

I'm not too keen for him to move up any more as well.

I did like the random mention of Cougars though
