Can't remember the 2 rounds in question but it kinda further proves to me the corruptness that goes on. Warrington was clearly losing the round and then caught Tuberion right at the end of the round, So was it just a simple mistake where the timekeeper wasn't paying attention? Or Was it decided Josh could finish him here so the round lasted about another minute. Lol and then the following round wasn't even 2 minutes ffs. Things like this do make me question the whole validity of boxing.
Mistakes happen mate, maybe the timekeeper was enjoying the round and missed the 3 minute limit for the first round and then tried to make up for his mistake in the next round by dropping it to 2. It's not ideal but imo wasn't to cause corruption.
Same thing happened in golovkin geale, was the next round cut short as it is the rules for the wbc or the time keeper did that himself
Cutting the next round short to make up for it is just plain stupid. The whole thing didn't look good at all. :-(
Not 100% sure but maybe they have to cut the next round because the maximum time for boxing matches is now 36 minutes?? It doesn't look good but only they will know!
