Mike Tyson vs. Buster Douglas. February 11th 1990. Tokyo Dome.

To see the Illusion of a monster that was Mike Tyson get beat by the better man. Mike Tyson's opportunity to overcome adversity In the boxing ring In which he never did. In his whole career. (Controversial?)

The fight I would LOVE to have seen, & I would have PAID to sit ringside if I had to, would be Floyd Mayweather jr - Antonio The Tijuana Tornado Margarito!! Sadly we were denied the opportunity due to Mayweathers blatant cowardice. He was PROVEN to be scared stiff of Margarito. He RETIRED to duck him.Later the boxing Commissioners forced Margarito out of the reckoning by railroading him & banning him for nearly 3 years. What happened??
Floyd cam slithering back LOL They'd removed the reason he retired
I know some of you will say " Oh here he goes again he thinks Margarito is as good as Ali" LOL. The truth is I believe Antonio to be a TRUE FIGHTER!! & an honest one. The kind of fighter I admire Fight Anyone Anywhere Anytime!! IF Floyd had had the balls & they'd fought I'd hope for once Floyd would give his opponent an even break & fight away from Vegas & the NSAC in a neutral arena with neutral officials & may the best man win.
If Floyd legitimately won I'd congratulate him & call him champ, but that's just a pipe dream
I Believe & I know Floyd believed that Tony at 100% would embarrass him & knock him out
Floyd chose cowardice instead knowing that the fans saw him embarrass himself by freaking out when Tony merely asked him " why wont you fight me "? lol

    Holmes-Mercer

That must have been pretty freaky to see. I was positive Larry was going to get stopped in the middle rounds (and I'm his biggest fan).

    Only one? Man that's hard.

I'll go with Tatsuyoshi vs Singwancha.

Pipe down CJ. He couldn’t even handle guys Floyd spanked. He’d be so one dimensional and predictable Floyd would wash him.

As long as the seat is front row ringside I will go with Dempsey-Tunney 2. To be ringside at Soldier Field for the craziness of the Long Count with 104,000 + screaming fans would have been absolutely amazing.

James J Corbett vs John L Sullivan. Different, but I’ve always wondered about the first exchange of the HW belt. My names “92” is a tribute to 1892 the year that John had the belt snatched.

I’d prefer the one where he fought a certain stone faced Thai. :uptosomething:

First, Simonich was Croatian. Second, he was from Butte, Mt, where I like to live. Third, when I was a little kid I met him at a party at my aunt's house. I was 6 and throwing punches and talking about boxing and he took me aside and talked to me about boxing. All I canm remember is that he said he had over 300 fights.
He was known as the Dynamo of Dublin Gulch, because of where he lived in Butte.
