I really don't think Rigo is too small for Lomachenko. But Rigo should fight a lesser opponent first like Gonzalez and I think he will ko Gonzalez. So Rigo can't avoid Lomachenko after beating Gonzalez. They have to fight! The Olympic story line is there. Plus I believe Rigo said he wants that fight.

Proven? Martinez didn't fight the Pavlik that beat Taylor. He fought the Pavlik who Hopkins had previously made his *****, ruining him. Lets not attempt to slant things, lol.

    1. Loma's first five or six fights were against scrubs in fights well below 12 rounds. He was paid, so they were professional fights. He then fought Ramirez, then Salido for the WBO title. That wasn't his first fight. It was like his 7th or 8th. Rigondeaux fought Cordoba for the WBA interim titl in his 7th fight.

    2. He wasn't DQ'd and Lomachenko was roughed up, by a fat out of shape veteran.

    3. Almost, didn't hit the jackpot. Which means, Lomachenko lost a fight, he should have never put himself in a position to lose in the first place. That is on him. Mr. master boxer mover.

I'll say it right now: Loma's lateral movement will be very problematic for Rigo. Rigo is, for all intents and purposes, a flat footed fighter.

Rigo is usually between 123-126. Loma is about 139

Not even. Sergio walks about at like 175-180

    Rigo walks about at 122.

You realise Lara has been calling out GGG for a while now and GGG said no.

So he doesn't fight flat footed or Lomachenko's movement won't be a problem for him. I've been watching boxing since the early 80's sonny....I am an aficionado amongst aficionado's.

He doesn't fight flat footed. At all. He is probably one of the most fleet footed boxers in the sport.

Salido was Lomas second fight actually. I was rooting for him vs Salido but he did lose closish but clear. He learned from the experience though and will be better for it.

Well, Donaire was considered too big for Rigo too. Look what happened there. I'm not saying that the same thing would happen with Loma but size ain't everything.
