Time to be honest...I can't hold this Collazo fight against the Thurmanator

Agreed, but I legitimately hate watching Alexander fight. At least Collazo will get knocked down 5 or 6 times.

Collazo ain't too bad, not sure why everyone is bashing it so much. Sure Thurman could have gotten someone better, but it's on rather short notice and at least it's not against a no hoper.

Maybe can pull an Ortiz performance at the twilight of his career.

That wasn't really down to Collazo being any good

People who don't knock out Khan don't knock out Thurman either. Let's not kid ourselves.

Does this not show how weak the division really is?

The fact that you're mentioning Paulie and Collazo tells me the division is VERY top heavy but weak overall.

The worst thing about that is that with Floyd, Manny, and JMM retiring, the top guy will be Bradley...and none of the other top 10 guys will be allowed to fight him. Thanks Al Haymon.

Yes everything is Haymon's fault. :patsch:lol:

I bet your mom giving you birth was also Haymon's fault.

Thurman vs Berto would be kind of interesting.

I don't mind this fight. Thurman is staying active, but he'd best fight a real name later in the year. Can't kill him too much for staying active against an OK opponent. Also, a stoppage would look very impressive for Thurman, and he can stop Collazo.

This will do as much as Quintana did for Thurman - nil.

A decent name several years ago, shot to bits now.

Chris van Heerden would've been a decent opponent if Thurman wanted to stay busy. He got shafted from fighting Gavin and probably looking to get in the ring

After squeaking by Narh & McCalla? :huh Eh...

I mean, yeah, better than Collazo, but...

    Mayweather
    Pac
    Bradley
    Brook
    Thurman
    Ruslan
    Khan
    Porter
    Maidana

That's a mix of 9 fighters that are ATGs at best (MayPac) and dangerous champs and ex champs in the middle (Brook, Khan) hungry contenders (Thurman, Porter) and dangerous wildcards at worst (Ruslan, Maidana)

The division is anything but top heavy, let alone weak.
