We Need A Different Way Of Scoring A Fight As We All See Time And Time Again U Get A Favorite Winning A Fight Because One Judge Gave Them A Crazy Score (jeff Lacy Got That 97-93 Rnd) Would Boxing Ever Consider A Computer Type Scoring Like In The Ammys? EveN If They Keep The 3 Judges And Not Have 5. Have Them Push A Button And Instead Of Scoring Points They Are Doing The Best Out Of 3 To Win The Round 2 Out Of The 3 Judges Have To Give It To 1 Person And Im Sure They Could Work Out A Way To Add Knockdowns In There Its Just A Thought And Wanted To See What People Had To Say
IT MAY STILL HAVE ITS DRAWBACKS BUT I WOULD FEEL A LITTLE BETTER ABOUT THE OUTCOME IF AT LEAST 2 JUDGES SCORE FOR ONE GUY AND I ALSO BELIEVE THAT THEY SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR A CRAZY ASS CARD LIKE IN THE LACY FIGHT AND I ALSO AGREE WITH THE AMMYS I FIGHT IN THE AMMYS AND I DID GET ROBBED BUT WITH ME I HAVE MORE OF A PRO STYLE THAN AMMY AND THAT DONT HELP ME AT ALL BUT I ONLY SPAR WITH PROS SO I AM HAPPY ABOUT THAT I JUST WANT TO SEE A CHANGE AND A FAIR ONE !!!
judges should use 10-10 rounds in close rounds. seems like judges never do that. or it should be mandatory you score the closest round 10-10. you would avoid 6-6 draws assuming no points taken or knockdowns.
SAME HERE I DROPPED THE GUY 30SECS IN AND GOT HIM FOR THE FIRST TWO RNDS AND THE 3RD I WOULD SAY I LOST ON POINTS NOT BY MUCH BUT I KNOW HE GOT ME AND THE THING IS HIS TRAINER ALSO PUT ON THE SHOW SO WE ALL KNOW HOW THAT GOES
There has to be more accountability for a start. Also judges, organizations and the boxing fraternity in general need to clarify what the criteria are for scoring a round. It is to subjective. I wouldnt be against one or all of the judges watching the fight on a feed independent of the networks so they can see all angles. Because often you can see a round where two guys just fight it out in the inside in one corner, so how the **** could all 3 judges see all the same thing in that instance?
