It's quite a turn of events that has happened in this last month or two.

Eddie now, no longer has an undefeated 3 belt holding superstar. He just has a superstar right now until the rematch of course. I wonder how this will affect AJs sponsors.

Negotiating power has been greatly diminished against Wilder and Fury and even if AJ does get his belts back, I don't see them going back to negotiation table with the same bravado as they previously had.

Tyson Fury is now becoming a big star in America and is arguably the most popular of the 3 stateside.

Hearn a few weeks ago was saying how he's got so many heavyweights on his roster and he can make so many matchups between them. If the belts are not with DAZN then all these dream matchups are pointless.

I bet Al Haymon can't believe his luck. Eddie mentioned that Haymon won't want to give Matchroom, the keys to the kingdom again as he did when AJ fought Charles Martin. Well, it looks like Eddie could have inadvertently given the keys back to Al Haymon.

 

Hearn was an absolute moron to put Joshua into a voluntary with a Haymon fighter. Haymon wants him frozen out of the US market

 

Yep and I bet Haymon is more than willing to work with Arum than he is with Hearn when it comes to unification fights.

Once again I fail to see how Fury comes out of all this looking like the guy who can make demands. He's just been in a non title fight against the world's seventh best German heavyweight in a venue with more empty seats than people. And you're talking about him entering negotiations with a guy who last year was the thirteenth highest earning athlete on the planet.

That's very much debatable. What we do know is out of the three the one who drew the biggest gate was AJ.

As for PPV. I don't think BT or anyone in the know will be rushing to release those numbers.

Would be nice if those who seem to amazingly come up with the amount of people that watch an AJ fight on DAZN or the amount of subscriptions he provided can now tell us how many subs Fury v Schwarz drove to ESPN +?

I will add espn have not been shy to release PR when UFC has rated high on espn + as well as driving 500k subs.

 

Do you want fights to be made depending on who the promoter is or do you just want to see good fights?

 

Would it kill you to just admit that Fury did well last night (regardless of opponent) and things are looking up for him whereas AJ obviously has a huge amount riding on the Ruiz rematch.

I can't imagine what you could possibly gain from defending Matchroom/Hearn/AJ's corner on an obscure internet forum for several hours a day.
