I think he's one of the toughest I've ever seen. Margarito knows toughness.

    A real FIGHTER

Baldomir was definitely the fight to make. It made most sense at the time, and beating him meant more.

No body didn't want to see that **** other than wishful thinking haters like you who think a guy who lost to Rodney jones and was brutalized by 3 fighters pbf schooled beats him. He has no jab no speed no defense he gets dominated and shut out by a prime sharpshooter counter puncher with atg defense reflexes speed ring iq who doesn't fade and has a chin. Much better boxers than margo couldnt beat or even trouble pbf but this slow walking mummy who pbf would set compu box records against would??? Lmfao you clowns don't know **** about boxing just wishful thinking haters. Lof off.

He would have gotten his asd kicked and not won a single second of any round against pbf. The difference in skill combined with reflexes is too great.. Levels!!!

You missed the interview where Floyd said that God told him not to fight Margarito.

You're taking his words out of context he was talking about him being a glove loading cheat and it was good that he didn't fight the glove loader.

if mosley could batter margarito effortlessly until the stoppage, what makes you think that a superior boxer like mayweather would struggle at all?. Margarito would just be another forgettable 119-109 win in his record.

I'll give him this, he had an iron chin.

But his record in terms of losses after his own GloveGate controversy leaves a lot to be desired and hardly inspires much in the way of confidence with respect to the truthfulness of his remarks on the allegations of glove tampering.

With that said, my overall opinion of him is, whether or not the allegations of glove tampering were true, he was a tough son of a ***** through and through, with an exciting come forward, brawling style and an iron chin to boot -that much can't be taken away from him.

But realistically, apart from these aforementioned qualities, the aura of fear he'd built up prior to the first Cotto bout, was quickly shattered when the sting appeared to mysteriously vanish from his punches thereafter, confirming the suspicions of many including myself.

And that's about all the good I have to say about the bloke, which to his credit is more complimentary analysis than I've written up for other cheaters.

But Floyd bragged at the time that titles meant nothing to him all he wanted was $$$$$$$$ It cost him big to fight Baldy instead of Margarito. Everyone but Floyd wanted
Margarito/ Floyd The Baldy fight was a laughing stock the VIP's were walking out by the 8th round Never heard so many Boo's.

All I'm saying is there was never a time when this potential fight truly made sense.

But it was the fight the fans wanted Everyone was calling for it
Floyd knew Tony was too big & too strong & would have walked straight through his pitty pats. Its a damn shame we never got to see it but one thing for sure It wasnt Tony that didnt want the fight it was Floyd. Tony would have fought the snivelling little coward for free any time
