You are another example, of a Tool listening, Affliction shirt wearing MMA fanboy who cannot handle the fact that a "fake" WWE Wrestler just punked an MMA fighter. His stand up looks shaky? Have you ever been in a ring, in your life? Brock threw and landed a picture perfect, textbook straight right hand. It almost knocked Crazy horse into the first ****ing row. Crazy Horse doesn have amazing recuperative power, but had that shot landed on his jaw, Paramedics would have been in the ring. As it was, the first punch landed caused eye damage.

    1. Brock Lesnar has easily, the one punch power of a heavyweight like Lennox Lewis and amazing handspeed. His defensive skills were good. Get him in with a Buddy McGirt for 2 months, and nobody in MMA including Tito or the Iceman will be able to stand toe to toe with him. His stand up skills are better than a lot of MMA guys I've seen.

    2. Wrestling Skills. I see as well as never having boxed, you have also never been on a Wrestling Mat. Let me put a 265 pound fat woman on your chest, and you try to breathe. What Brock did was Brilliant. Did you notice the little "Bronc Rider" gesture he did at the end of the fight? He rode Crazy Horse all 3 rounds. Didnt let him breathe, and maintained the dominant position. Should he have went for a chokehold? Sure, but win any way you can, Brock has amazing Stamina, and knows how to use his mat skills AND power, and weight against his opponent, to take the fight out of them, by simply cutting their air supply and torturing them with knee strikes and whacks on the side of the head.

He might end up better than Coleman, Kerr and Randleman....I'd say even now with no submissions skills he got more firepower than Coleman and Kerr. Randleman will always be an enigma (why he didn't win more) I think his weakness was his chin and lack of submission defense. Brock's definitely a meat head though.....He's honorary Hammer House member if there ever was one.....That first punch and the Rhino charge was classic, he's kind of like Coleman but quicker, bigger and punches harder....

Brock is certainly way more talented than all those fighters you have mentioned in my opinion. But his not that disimilar. Colemans standup has always been poor and none of those fighters evolved with MMA. They were just meat heads who loved a ruck. Brock is no diffrent but his way stronger and much faster. As for Kevin.. well Kevin is just Kevin. Very blessed but mentally his a midget. He just cant put it together. Too much PCP me thinks..

There is alot of discussion on Lesnars hands. Does anyone know how big his hands actually are?

Brock is a monster. Although he is smaller than Bob Sapp, he is not unlike him in that he can win against a much more accomplished fighter using just his over powering physical edge. Unlike Sapp, Lesnar can actually wrestle and appears to be learning how to strike.

Lesnar has had only 3 fights, and he is already a top contender in the UFC. The difficult thing for Lesnar is being so good so fast. He thoroughly dominated Herring, yet he looked puzzled most of the time. He could bully Herring all over the place, but looked as though he had no clue as to how to finish him. Until he evolves more as a finisher, the chances of being submitted will remain high when he is facing a fighter capable of mounting an offense from a defensive posture.

Still, with only 3 fights he is probably at worst "pick 'em" odds against any fighter in the UFC. That includes Couture if Randy can't get away and still wishes to fight.

I wouldn't agree that lesnar has more talent than kerr did, at the time kerr was the only guy with that level of strength and wrestling that was training stand up with worthwhile people. He also seemed tp have much more of a killer instinct than brock does, some of the old kerr fights where brutal.

Yes but Brock seems bigger, stronger and faster than Kerr. Already his standup looks better in terms of punching power than Kerr or Coleman or Erikson.

i don't agree at all, kerr at the time was a freak like lesnar is now, you can't compare like for like as kerr was around when the fighting was alot more basic. I would say he showed far better finishing and stand up skills than lesnar has shown so far.

Kerr was never as freakish as Lesnar. Never. The only person who comes close in "whoah this mother****er is huge" is Bob Sapp, but then we learned that Sapp had no chin, heart, punching power, little speed and poor wrestling.

We know that for the moment, Lesnar has speed, punching power, amazing wrestling in addition to his freakish strength and size.
    This guy is a machine.
I mean, what happens if he has a cast iron chin? What happens if he learns to have great submission defense in the next 2 years or so? The man could be unstoppable, the only thing that is perhaps against him is that he's already 31 and that giant hulk of a body might start to break down in the amount of time it takes him to become truly experienced and great.

But this guy has the biggest potential in all of MMA, I've never seen anyone with the coupling of speed, strength and power of this guy(punching and physical power)

He is a phenom, is a real fighter that any other competitors should take very seriously if they're ever matched up with him. That includes the top 10. :nod

at the time nobody was as strong as kerr and that include coleman and all the freak fighters, anyone that trained with kerr said he had freakissh strength.
Also as i mentioned before kerr was a brutal fighter something i don't really see in lesnar.
Not only that kerr had betetr standup in one of his early fights against the big paul varleans then lesnar has shown so far. That was also in a time when the griundgame was king.

Just from looking at tapes, Lesnar looks to be the far bigger man. Kerr was more brutal because the rules allowed it.
Maybe Kerr had better technical striking but Lesnar floored both Herring and Mir with 1 punch in those respective fights, the guy has some serious punching power. Not to mention thos knees to the body. :scaredas:

I don't really recall Kerr having massive striking power on the feet, just vicious ground and pound.

Lesnar is 6'3 and 265 pounds, kerr was 6'1 260 pounds so obviously lesnar is alittle bit bigger but i wouldn't be sure how much stonger he was.
Kerr didn't use alot of punch's however he did use alot of standing knees which where of good quality.
Kerr was also a much better sub fighter than lesnar could hope to be.
