Just curious-who the hell pays for these types of fights in Oz?Does Mundine have a deal with local tv or does he have a money man that backs him? How the hell does anyone make any money?:huh
So the card airs on Main Event from 7:30pm AEST; does anybody have a rough estimate of when Pitt & Aloua or Mundine & Clottey will begin their walks?
Mundine took a sizable loss on the Mosley fight and the interest for this fight has been even less. Almost nothing in the media and even the boxing forums showing close to zero interest. Clottey will get paid far less than Mosley, but not sure where the money is going to come from?
Mundine's management have cleverly targeted career welterweights in the aging Mosley and now the very likely past his best Clottey. The big advantage for Anthony Mundine again tonight will be physical size. Mundine is a big middleweight who has boiled down to junior middleweight. Clottey, like Mosley, is a career welterweight, and Mundine will again enter the ring the much bigger man. Unless Clottey can hurt and slow Mundine down I think Mundine will just jab his way to a rather one sided victory.
LOL Deluded Aussie fans thinking Mundine is some great top fighter lol seriously watch world level boxing dont believe what they serve you there Mundine is totally irrelevant guy was KTFO by Ottke
Well Clottey wasn't as ripe for the picking as Mosley after all, and what a hiding he delivered Mundine. A career ending beating that one. Mundine pretended he thought he beat Geale for months when it was plain to anyone with the slightest clue he'd been beaten conclusively. Wonder what excuses and claims Mundine will come out with this time?
I said it in another thread, Mundine sparring bums building his confidence results in this type of performance. He should have been sparring strong middleweights who mirrored clotteys style.
Clotty is right in what he said post fight. Mundine coming in down in weight was a bad idea. He looked awesome at SMW, was only okay at middle and embarrassing at anything lower than that. All he has left now is Green, and he mentioned Green as an option after the fight.
Mundine went into the fight dropping Mayweather's name and came out of it dropping Danny Green's Enough said as to where his career is at.
