Now this one is purely embarrassing; I kind of thought that Conor McGregor had a chance of a KO/TKO win vs Mayweather, with Floyds age and McGregors power considered... Although at the same time I knew it was rather ridiculous. There I said it... feels good to finally get that out.

In recent times I was CONVINCED that young English would have devoured Saint George Groves. I ridiculed people picking Groves claiming they were letting their dislike of Junior rule their head.
Recent ones were Chisora to beat Whyte, H Fury to beat Pulev, Degale to beat Junior, Ohara to land a bomb on Taylor (cringe), Klitschko to beat AJ, Groves to beat Callum, Garcia to beat Spence to name but a few.
Too many to list ha. A lot of naive picks when I first got into boxing...Hatton vs Mayweather for example. Haye vs Wlad and later Bellew ha. Didn’t rate Bellew and still think those victories flattered him but ignored how finished Haye was. Re: Fury I don’t remember how I felt about the Wlad fight but pretty sure I’d have backed him to be KO’d based on the sloppy knockdowns against smaller and lesser fighters. I would have picked Haye to knock him out too. Other than that most Warrington fights, e.g. Selby and Frampton, I picked him to lose.
I thought Haye would beat Wladimir and I was convinced he would beat Bellew the first time. Poor picks in hindsight.
I was very young and naive but I thought that Hide was going to beat Bowe! It was looking good early on...... I genuinely thought that Khan could beat Alvarez. He was beating him until he was knocked out by a man over a stone heavier than him, a man using performance enhancing drugs I might add. I had reservations but I thought both Selby and Frampton would beat Warrington. Haye v Bellew 1, I could only see one outcome.
So many, the most embarrassing was perhaps calling Bomber to beat Tyson in their 96 rematch... I do not get a big Bellew fight right.
I was on the Price bandwagon... even going into the Thompson rematch. Still not as bad as the fella who thought McGregor would KO Mayweather!!! I have a couple of magic beans if you're interested pal!
