Main event of a Main Event show at
TikTok Entertainment Centre in Sydney on December seventeenth. Ten rounds scheduled at middleweight.

Tszyu makes his re-debut at 160lbs - appearing in the division for the first time since April of 2018 - after going 1-3 in his last four outings. Velazquez of Springfield, MA brings in an undefeated record of 18-0-1 (15) but is taking a huge leap up in class.

Tszyu should be winning this very easily.

But I am yet to be convinced that he’s not gun-shy post the Bakhram fight. His effort against Fundora was borderline uncompetitive, although brave enough.

At 160 I am not so sure about him. I don’t think he struggled that much to make 154 and doesn’t strike me as a guy who is naturally going to bulk up at this stage. He is 31 after all.

His best wins this easily but what are we going to get?

Tszyu didn't give me a good feeling at all his last few fights. I think he should retire.

I feel the same way about the big open-air rock venue near me, in Mansfield. From when I was a baby until my late teens it was Great Woods - which is what most millennials and Gen X'ers still stubbornly insist upon calling it. It's been through several name changes since, including Tweeter Center and now Xfinity Center...but hardly anybody under the age of 30 has ever called it aught but Great Woods.

I’m very nearly of the same opinion. He’s walking a tightrope now.

Tszyu is not the same fighter he was going into and even after the 1st Fundora fight. Any person without a serious bias could see that without the cut aiding Fundora that he clearly had his number that night(even then the fight was still very close in the end) After Bakhram he clearly lost something. Some fighters aren't the same after a loss like that both mentally and physically, especially those with styles that are even more reliant on self belief and confidence like Tszyus is. It's going to be hard for Tszyu to get the momentum and swagger he had going into the first Fundora fight. Like you said I'm not sure if he can. But I'll still tune in regardless!

I wasn't aware this was at 160. His opponent also does not seem like a push over. Tall, undefeated, can punch and looks to have decent skills. I think this smells of more bad match making for a fighter coming off a beating and looking to regain some confidence. Won't surprise me if he gets knocked out again.

Okay but... I never said it was at the old Sydney Entertainment Centre.

In my OP it said: TikTok Entertainment Centre in Sydney. (formerly known as ICC)

True statement, as Darling Harbor is part of Sydney, no?
