First post..... Last post. It is what it is.

I love how countless posters scored this a draw or a 1 point win for Tim, and this idiot singles me out, and ignores everyone else. What a way to make a first impression. In all likelihood... it's someone I've already banned, with a boulder size chip on his shoulder.

Yes, I did. Tim barely threw a punch in the first four rounds. Mendoza clearly won the 6th and the 12th. I'm not sure what all the controversy is about. Anyone outraged by a draw card are the truly biased ones.

He did use it early in his career, jab has slowly dropped out of his arsenal.

Yeah, that's nice. But have you forgotten that boxing is scored on a round by round basis? That hiding occurred from the 7th to the 11th. Tim did **** all from 1 to 4, lost the 6th and gave away the 12th. I have no problem with anyone finding another round or two to give to Tim, and you shouldn't have a problem someone finding a round or two to give to Mendoza either.

I disagree with you scoring it a draw.

But as for the personal attack on you. That's bs. You're a good poster!

    Ignore the trolls mate.

**** see that welt after round 3 or 4? Then what was to follow?

Tszyu belted him. Man I saw shades of Tony Harrison in there. I thought 6-12 uppercuts was going to reign in on a few occasions.

I had it 115-113 for Tim Tszyu, i could see it 116-112 as well.

I had Mendoza up at 4-2 after 6 but Tszyu came back strong on the later rounds but took the 12th off.

Fair enough. Don't have an issue with anyone scoring it to Tim by a round or two.

You must be looking for excuses to give Mendoza rounds if you gave him the first 4. Tim won at least 2 of them.

I told you I meant the Harrison fight.

I expanded into the Ocampo fight due to my initial over sighting of it.

Point being, a fighter can still exhibit steady, on point punch selection and placement when he takes the opportunity to gun his opponent down - and such opportunities can sometimes present early - good fighters know when to step it up and with absolute precision.

Some fighters can miss badly in their over exuberance when following up on a wounded opponent. I just said Tszyu missed a few after a precision right had hurt Ocampo - hardly hypercritical.

It wasn’t a case of having to go so far back - per the point I was making, Louis’ performance against Schmeling is simply an all time, perfect example of cool, calm, precision punching concentrated into barely over 2 minutes.
