Agreed, especially in a sport where the 0 means so much, probably didn't want to disappoint in his first US showing.

It's a matter of tools. Opening a hole in a wall is very difficult when you only have a screwdriver. Simple as that.

As as simple as Zoo not having the necessary tools to win to Fundora.

If you could get your tongue out of his ass maybe you would be able to see it, but I know you can't, so no problem.

Being able to see is a pretty big tool.

You are also a massive tool.

Did Tszyu fighting with a hole in his head turned into an Aussie hype job derailed while I was asleep? Class act, per usual.

Credit to Fundora for pushing through where a lesser contender would falter. Tszyu should have pushed for a NC; his heart or pride cost it him here.

So you didn’t see the fight?

You’re in no position to comment.

Watched both Pulev and Tszyu cards :boxing1 The final three fights (Lara, Cruz, Tszyu) were all fireworks. Viva la Cuba.

A medical personnel and a martial artist friend of mine was bashing Tszyu's corner the whole fight, commenting on how he wouldn't let the man out based on blood loss, impaired vision, and the nastiness of the gash itself. Better to drop the ball there, rather than risk accumulating damage in a fight he likely wouldn't get the decision in.

I agree with him; I also understand Tszyu decision, even though perhaps it was his pride and heart that cost him the fight. The result stands, but I vehemently, violently, and to my last toiling breath on this planet disagree with anybody trying to diminish Zoo as a fighter because of what happened that night. He was setting the Inferno on fire up until the freak injury slowed him down. On another hand credit to Fundora, because a lesser man would still falter in that bloodbath.

Either way and instant classic. Such cinematic war is in a way a gift to fighters' legacy--Fundora got to act out that nickname of his, and Tszyu went out like a real champion, scoring shots all the way through, and rallying back in the twelfth. Hopefully they run it back, though I would rather see no immediate rematch, like in the old days.

I think I may have misinterpreted your prior post.

    Thanks for setting me straight.

Was Fundora in camp training to fight another opponent prior to getting the last minute call up to fight Tszyu? Everyone is talking about how Tim will do in a rematch with no freak cut, but nobody is talking about how Fundora will do in a rematch with a full 12 week camp to prepare for Tim.

The guy Fundora was prepping for was very similar to Tszyu.

Tszyu was preparing for a very different type of fighter.
