Same business Helenius had for the AJ fight after the Wilder KO....a warm body with under two weeks to go.

There is nobody like Fundora. You can't actually prepare for him.

Tszyu was training to face Thurman and Fundora and Bohachuk were training to face each other for the vacant world title and then when Thurman pulled out with only two weeks to go they matched Tszyu up with Fundora with his freakish dimensions with not only one world title on the line but two after the WBC decided to put their vacant title in the mix and they matched Bohachuk, who again had spent all camp training to face Fundora for the world title, against the dangerous big punching iron-jawed Mendoza with no world title on the line

Both Fundora and Mendoza were coming off losses, Fundora a KO loss to Mendoza, whereas Bohachuk was undefeated in his last 5. However, at no point did they offer him the Tszyu fight even though stylistically it couldn't fail to deliver because both have exciting styles and are big punchers who come to fight and they are much closer in terms of physical dimensions than Tszyu and Fundora are.

Fundora given his freakish size and dimensions, and Mendoza given his iron chin and one shot KO power, were very risky opponents for Tszyu and Bohachuk to face at such late notice and, as said, Bohachuk was screwed out of a world title fight at the last minute after training all camp for one and both Fundora and Mendoza were coming off losses. They had history with each other so why didn't they match them up with each other again and let Tszyu and Bohachuk fight each other for the world title instead?

We know PBC want Spence up next for those belts and the rematch between Spence and Crawford with the belts on the line would be the ideal scenario for them.

The guy was winning easy until he got opened up by an ELBOW in boxing. A cut that poured like 1/3 of his body blood right info his eye for 10 rd. It’s lunacy his corner didn’t pull him before the 4th round. This result means nothing to me.

I agree, this is an easier path to world champ at 154. When the fight happens people will be suprised how easy Spence cuts him down

Spence is coming off a loss he needs to fight someone else and establish himself at 154 before he gets a shot at fundora

    Good to see.
Australia is too far and his name is too goofy to spell.

We can't really assume anything. Fundora, having now seen them in the ring together, does present some challenges to Tim. They really should just run it back.

Answer: Because Bohachuk is an unknown and Fundora is a well known and popular fighter.

Tszyu didn't show an extra gear last night. Fury managed to beat Wallin and come off the floor to find success plenty of times against Wilder. Mayweather won various fights with hand and shoulder injuries. Gatti made a career out of gutting out fights that could've been stopped. Tim is good, but I don't think he'll ever be a superstar unless he shows the qualities of a natural fighter.

This was the right call because Fundora took his shot and beat Zoo.

    Jealousy at it's finest.

A fully fit Tszyu wins that fight easily by KO if not for being blinded by blood caused from a freak injury. If the roles were reversed Tszyu would have knocked out Fundora in one round had Fundora been blinded. He fought severely handicapped with one eye. Enjoy it haters because when Tim gets his belts back and it's not if it's when, you will get to sulk like the kids in Grade 2 who's jealous of that boy with the better toys.

How would Tim ever elbow the top of Fundora's head?
