Timofei Konstantinovich Tszyu vs. Takeshi Inoue & Wade Ryan vs. Wachuk Natsu RBR

Round 1

Tszyu is knocking on the front door with some light jabs. Inoue keeping a high guard, giving ground but reluctantly as Tszyu prods with some lead rights pushed in experimentally. Nobody throwing with any snap yet. Inoue diving in and planting a soft right on the belly, then backing out still in a crouch with Tszyu watching, not retaliating. Tszyu comes forward now and tries a couple of hooks on the body and Inoue seems to either be hurt or imbalanced, although he rights the ship almost immediately. Tszyu reaching over the top with rights but getting picked off, not penetrating Inoue's gloves or forearms. Inoue taking a couple of steps inside but forced to block as Tszyu flurries, abandoning the sorties without mounting any offense. A couple more duck-in paintbrushes on the body from Inoue. Right hand by Tszyu.

If the Aussie commentary is customarily horrid, I recommend watching it with Russian (on Матч! Боец). I don't understand a word but they sound very calm and unbiased ...it's soothing, nearly ASMR.

 

Why is Takeshi fighting like he spent all night participating in uninterrupted bukkakes with no refractory period? He's doing alright considering, but he just looks...sluggish.

 

Round 2

Tszyu is following Inoue around, banging on his guard but without much success. Inoue leading him on a string for a bit and then bringing in carwash strips. Inoue spending long periods of time in his shell, but is the only man really getting through cleanly when he breaks it to either jab the body or brush Tszyu with a right up top.

Round 3

Tszyu is starting to crack in some hard body shots, with Inoue seeming momentarily discomfited as the high guard is no longer serving him. Inoue retreats and has to mind the corners, sometimes navigating past them last-second. Tszyu plods on, continuing to struggle to score jabs at the head but able to pass the guard with some right crosses and one nice uppercut as Inoue backs himself into a corner.
