Tszyu is jabbing and closing the distance with ill-advised long uppercuts from a couple of paces out. Inoue not making him pay, just leaning back and remaining in his shell. Tszyu keeps pressing forward and Inoue counters with just one-and-done chopping rights without stepping in to cut off the advance. Lots of grinding in by Inoue, shoving Tszyu off with his left arm Heisman style. Tszyu is missing straights up top from the outside walking in. Body flurry by Inoue pouncing off the ropes before he can be hemmed in by Tszyu. More straights by Tszyu, falling very short. They come together and both throw wild shots up close, smothered.

Round 5

Tszyu is standing off, watching Inoue from a mile off and pointlessly jabbing the air. Both corners getting antsy, shouting instructions heard loud and clear over a fairly dead crowd. Inoue breaks the lull first, coming in with a ducking shoeshine on the body that wings out into hooks on the flanks. Inoue throws a 1-2 and skims Tszyu's hairline, then covers up as Tszyu plays a little patty-cake against his guard. Tszyu sneaks a right around it and buzzes Inoue. Tszyu spins Inoue and then walks him across the ring Conga line style. He clearly thinks about throwing a foul at the back of Inoue, but catches himself. Inoue faces around the right way and starts clinching.

Each man's bauble in the kitty tonight is a WBO title, hence no WBC open scoring. I'm curious to know if this is a shutout for Tszyu so far on the official cards as expected. Inoue probably needs to damn near kill him to get a 10-9. Anything close they're going Tszyu.

 

Round 6

Tszyu is ripping the body of Inoue and chasing him around the ring. Inoue ducks in and fires a few counters up into the bottom of Tszyu's chin but soon abandons his post and flees to each set of ropes in turn, with Tszyu drifting after him like toilet paper stuck to his shoe, landing a very low percentage of his reach-in line-drive rights, but smacking the body effectively up close.
