    Tim do how he do.

People have every right not to be impressed but I've followed this lad since his am days and if you had asked me 3 years ago he would be in this position, headlining in the states and beating guys like Gausha I would have said you are loco.

He has come a long way and despite what people think he has done it on his own. His last name hasn't hindered his ability to generate interest but its only him in the ring.

And it starts...people debating those scorecards.

Why? Because they can't score a BOXING fight.

    Gausha won R1-3 pretty handily.

And he made one or two rounds (in the last quarter) pretty close.

Taking the 10-8 into consideration: 116-111, 115-112 and 114-113 are possible scorecards for this fight.

Fight was not close. Sure Gausha was game and landed some good punch but he was out landed.

Not only does he hit harder, he fights better.

"Let's be honest guys....those guys Tszyu fought in Australia were tailor-made stylistic matchups. This is his FIRST real test and so far Tszyu looks way out of Gaushas depth."

"I never got the Tszyu hype tbh"

    Jejejejeje.... :applaudit:

A fight is scored round by round. So yeah...it was actually a close fight despite TT dishing out a beating in the mid rounds. 114-113 is a reasonable scorecard here.

Those scorecards are being panned on Twitter. Deservedly so. 114-113 is an incomprehensible card.

Yes rnd by rnd where Gausha got out punched in all but rnd 1 and 2.

Competitive fight yes, close hell no.

You forgot my other posting pre fight:

"Don't overthink this one. Gausha is a low volume counter puncher who fights extremely tentative. He's a terrible round winner. Tszyu will outwork him to a wide UD. Tszyus power is a bit overrted because of the Horn & Hogan stoppages. Horn didn't belong at 154 and Hogan was outmatched and came off two wars where he took a lot of damage. Hogan also very one-dimensional coming forward with that high guard all the time. TT was just way too good for that. Gausha should be skilled and experienced enough to last."

I'd say i was pretty much SPOT ON like usually.

    Read and learn.

Gausha is now 2-3-1 in the last five years... but all four of his blemishes have been competitive distance grinds with world class opponents. He is the definition of "not champ material, but a dependably solid enhancement talent/culler for contenders".

Tszyu won but it wasnt a wipeout like the silly commentary was trying to narrate. He had six dominant rounds. He lost one 10-8. Five other competitive rounds... People still dont know how scoring works. Outmatched physically but hard not to root for him given that and how he fought back well. The one card was too close but I really dont have a problem with them. If anything it is refreshing seeing the A-side not get a 119-109 here... I liked what I saw from Tszyu as well. Walked away liking him more.

Why do you feel Horn didn't belong at 154?

What was he landing? He walked forwards and used his strength/volume to score. He punched gloves, the only punches he landed were to the body. Gausha clearly hurt TT more than the other way, but Gausha is a counter puncher and can’t press the action well. TT seemed to have no defense at all, and looked lost when punches were coming back. I think TT is in big trouble when he fights someone less defensive minded. I’m not convinced TT has the power in his punches. He’s strong and fit, that’s not enough against the best.

Eh, no... 114-113 is not a reasonable scorecard if you saw the full fight, Gausha almost won 3 rounds.
