    Why did Top Rank even bother signing Adorno? :thinking: He was only a so-so amateur on the U.S. domestic scene (most notably splitting a pair with Gabe Flores Jr.) and spent his rookie year before Arum scooped him up just straight up can-crushing.

    who is the better schooled fighter? Rivera hands up, great jabs controls the ring chin down Adorn fights with his chin up and forward couldn't block a punch to save his life and he is being pushed around

    And while facial damage in itself shouldn't be used as a primary scoring factor, in this instance it is indicative of how many jabs Rivera is pelting the face of Adorno with, while his own is practically unmarked. Pretty much anything Adorno is getting in is a light touch downstairs while in retreat, or darting in for a cheeky punt.
