    Great post Aramini. Your mentality is that of an old school fighter.....I see both positives and negatives in that but you are 100% right about boxing being very much a mental sport. To have the ability to go beyond your physical capacity........forcing the body beyond the limit and having a sixth gear when everyone else has 5 is not something that's in everyones DNA.

    The truly great fighters all had the mental fortitude that separated them from the rest.....it's when we have 2 great fighters with that extra gear that produces a boxing war. The war of attrition is often won in the gym but at the elite level of any sport it becomes more mental.
