    I haven't watched the video?

Did he get the pts wins after getting schooled like he did against Manny.

Meh. Doesn't mean much. I think a lot of these sparring partners go in there with a great deal to prove and the champ's just looking to get a little work in.

Most Pacquiao sparring clips that i have seen i have noticed that with his sparring partners. They usually go full gear while Pacquiao is taking them lightly.

Either way you don't expect to see Manny beat up in sparring like that. Wether you "believe" he is taking them lightly or not is not even relevant. Every time Manny did his pitter patter step thing he does, Mayfield popped him with a right or left and landed flush.

And if it were an fight with 8oz gloves and no headgear, he'd be knocked out fighting Pacquaio the same way he's fighting him in that video. That's why sparring is sparring and nothing more. No fear of really getting hurt, sparring partners are supposed to go all out while the fighter in training works on whatever he needs to work on.

Hell, Amir Khan gets the better of pacquiao often in sparring sessions also. But we all know what would happen in a real fight.

Why would Manny want to deliver a beat down on his sparring partners? What would that achieve? You can see he is clearly going light and working on certain techniques.
