    I watched Giovanni Segura, Miguel Vasquez, and Alejandro Gonzalez do these today. In fact Capetillo makes all his fighters do this.

    I cant believe Ive never seen these before, and Ive seen a lot of crazy neck and jaw strengthening exercises

    Im trying these tomorrow when I train

    I'm pretty sure there are other muscles in use (to move the body upwards), the jaw has a very short range of motion- I think the lifting of the lower body is to shift the weight to the jaw/add resistance.

    Have you tried a neck harness? I ordered a new one couple days ago.

    I tried them









    They are HARD. At first I kept trying to do a sort of plank pushup on my chin, which i determined is physically impossible.

    Then I rewatched it and realized bradley bridges his hips up first and elevates himself through his cervical spine onto his chin

    They are doable, they also suck ass and I was only able to do 3, and my scalene muscles were definitely feeling it

    I think an isometric hold would be the best way to build strength with this exercise
